Hey eveyone, as some of you know I started my fishing blog a few days ago, some of you have visited it, some havent, either way Im here to try and get some guest writers from this fantastic forum. The link to my blog can be found in my signature. Ive been trying to write as much as I can, reviewing lakes/rivers/lures or just talking about my experiences, but I had surgery this past thursday while training for my upcoming deployment to afghanistan so getting out to fish is sort of difficult ( although i might try today) So again, Im opening up the blog to the talent here, I would like to diversify the blog a bit and get some fishing reports for lakes and rivers not in my local area. I would like the articles to be close to 500 words, they must be unique articles about your personal experiences, pictures with them are great. If you would like to do this for free it would be fantastic because it is a new website and not making any money thus far, if you must be paid the max I can swing is about $5 an article. lol I think I left my nifty gloves on a rented boat . No Ive never eaten one but I talked to my dad today and he said they are good eatin, guess its all in how you cook them. All I know is they smell disgusting coming out of the water.

its rare for me to catch a big one but I throw everything back regardless of size.

Was fishing a local river last night and after only dragging one lm from the depths I decided to take a run at the local catfish hole. After 15 or so minutes there I dragged this PB onto the shore. It was night time and all I had was my cell phone so the pic quality is not great but here it is

ya, I have no doubt it was me, but in my defence the lake is nothing but weeds as you can kind of see in the picture so Ive sort of been confined to top water while fishing there anything else either comes back in clumps or doesnt come back at all. Any tips on fishing extremely thick weeds?

Whats the problem with an ugly stick?

I was out on my local lake for the entire day on saturday and this was the only bass I was able to set the hook on...... I could believe it, so many strikes but I was using my new ugly stick with my Daiwa reel and I just couldnt get a decent hookset. I was having trouble with my drag though so I think having the drag set to light may have contributed. Any way heres the not so huge bass. Notice its night time. Out from 6 am and caught him at 8:50 pm!!! Dylan

So whenever I would come back from a fishing trip I would always unload my pics on my computer and to send them to someone I would always have to upload them to a huge site like imagevenue, possibly mixing them with unsuitable/pornographic images, one such experience was my motivation to buy this site. ya, just took the hook wrong

Hey everyone, just got back from catfish fishing 15 mins ago was pretty slow only two in 3 hours but it was my first one ever. here are a couple pics for everyone. Mine My Buddys fish Put up a crazy fight for a small fish, the one was hooked badly hence the bleeding. See ya Dylan
