We had some slow action for perch first thing in the morning. Caught 8 in a our 30 minutes. All 10 to 12". Headed out deep for white fish after that. Few schools came buy. Rolled one. Nothing on the ice. G-bay tomorrow.

What else do you post? How about a little intro. Help answer others questions. Give a little support to some friends. Ask totally none fishing related questions. Talk about hockey. Stopping smoking. Losing weight. Having babies.
Lots of other things to post about.
I didn't fish Cameron in 2012.. So I can't answer your question.

Nice! Last fall I saw two together across from my house. Thought it was so amazing. 30 seconds later, my wife phones me and told me she just got a positive reading on a pregnancy test (after trying for over 2 years). Very cool day.

I did the same diet before my wedding Brian. 215 down to 168. Gained it all back. Then lost it. Then gained it back.
Alex was born 4.5 months ago. 220 down to 174 this morning. I've done it 3 times in the last 10 years. Can't be healthy. But I feel great!
I lose weight fast and I gain weight fast. It all my fault though. I eat like a pig until I hit a breaking point. Then I work out like crazy and eat really well for 6 months. Repeat...

Looks like you guys had a blast.
Scary
about your buddy falling in. Could have turned out really bad. Glad things panned out!
Nice mess of walleye!

The Darwin's are always good for a chuckle.

Thanks for the Update Pete!
It's all a mind game. Loosing weight is so easy, once you master your mind.
Call them Triggers, or cravings.. What ever. Your body / mind need to get used to a new routine, and once that happens, you will be so amazed at how fast the weight will fall off.
Keep it up man!
As, for some people suggesting other diets to you.. Don't take it the wrong way. They are just letting you know what worked for them. If they feel that what you are doing will be detrimental to your health and well being, I would fully hope an expect my friends to voice their concerns. You just need to practice selective hearing, and do what you feel is best for you.
Keep us posted on your progress!

My baby is trying to sleep, and I'm sitting on the couch choking, trying not to laugh

Good job man!

Ya, that was posted a few months back.

What do you think?
I wouldn't want to go jumping pressure cracks with these on.
I would think if you hit bump big enough, they would come off.
Cool idea though!

Welcome aboard man!

Glad you found it Cliff. Hopfully the damage isn't gunna cost you to much to fix!.
My hut is in my garage / shop getting a good coat of sealant and paint. Hoping to get it out next weekend.

2 trees down on my property.
Luckily, one of the trees was going to be a bit of a technical drop this spring. But the wind blew it down in the perfect spot. Saved me a headache.

If you can get up to Sprucedale next Friday, I have tons at the cottage. 2" white with the little blue specks in it. I think its R9. only catch is my driveway doesnt get plowed in the winter, so we'll have to carry it out about 2-300 yards to the road. I will have my sled up with me but no toboggan to haul with. PM me if youre interested. its yours for free. some is a little busted up, but there should be more than enough for what you need. LMK
That's is another great offer!!
Man I love OFC!
I will PM you if I can't find exactly what I'm looking for.
Get the shiny tinfoil lined stuff you won't regret it . Doesn't make a mes and reflects light.. Not free but I did my 5x8 permy for 100 bucks or so
Ya, I saw that stuff. Looks pretty slick. I'll check some weekly fliers, see if that stuff goes on sale.
I want something that is going to last a long time.

ive got some white beeble style insulation you can have it 2'' thick and ive got easy enough to do your hut
Dan
Wow.
That's a great offer! I will consider that for sure!
2" is much thicker then what I am looking for. But as a back up, that would work OK. The white stuff tends to flake away into those little styrafoam balls. I was hoping to get the foam typle panel, because they are more durable.
Thanks very much eh! I will PM you if I can't find anything in the next few weeks,
-
This is tru.
I really don't care about the color.

I work for a manufacturing company. But all of our stuff usually comes with custom formed foam packaging. Or other stuff i can't use.
I did manage to score a sheet and a half of Pink 1" think foam board. But I would prefer the thin 0.5" stuff over 1". And pink... No way.

I am in the process of converting my homemade portable in to a solid walled hut. It is 4 x 8 base, 7' tall in the center. Barn still roof.
I have the walls and roof up. Purchased all of my sealants, and paint. Gunna get that part done this weekend.
Next step is to install some insulation.
Anyone have any opinions for insulating a hut on a budget?
The best I can find right now are the 0.5" blue foam sheets you can get from Rona. I need 12 @ $7 each. $84 plus tax.
I also thought about spray foam. Something like Froth-Pak. But I think you need some special gas tanks, or something along those lines. Then if you need to replace a board in the future, you have to re-foam...
I would like to install the blue foam boards. But I am already over budget. Anyone know a place where I can get them for dirt cheap? or have any better ideas on how to insulate on a budget?

X2. I've only ever used black.

Cool video Simon.
Reminds me of when I was a hired hand on a farm. In the winter we would rebuild combines. I had to clean them first. The pressure washer was more like an ice blaster on the super cold days..
Finally went and did it! Completed my PAL and hunter ed!

Good on ya man!
The PAL papers can take a while to get in the mail. Mine took a few months.
Are you going to stick to the guns, or get in to bow hunting at all?
Hunting can be a lifestyle for some people. More then just a week long deer hunt once a year. Enjoy it!
