I grew up fishing the maitland in the Wingham area.
I only fished for bass as a kid. But there where a few guys that had the salmon figured out, and they always seemed to do really well.

Alex's 1st birthday Sunday. I'm having about 40 people over for a BBQ.
Heading to 6-mile tomorrow. Cleaning and preparing the house Saturday. Monday plans are up in the air.

It's just a tough question to get answers to the day before a long weekend. No matter how great OFC is! -
IMO, asking this question on an open forum is far worse than asking for fishing spots.. Well... The answers are the problem, not the question.Is this like asking for fishing spots?? Or the 2hrs from gta that make it a crazy question? Nothing near kawartha highlands or maybe a little further?
Not to sound like a sap. But a nice crown land campsite is a precious thing. Specially within 2 hours of the big stink.
I can only think or a dozen or so. But they where found through lots of research and ground pounding. I'd tell you where they where. But because of the good old Internet, you need to show up a day before the long weekend to get a spot.

It's a man made lake... Made for man to use and abuse. It was bound to happen.
no offense, but I feel more angry about lakes like 6-mile, and the thousands of other natural lakes that have been severely abused in the past 100 years.

I have a lindy one. But the place I got it is no longer in business.
It worked great. Don't use it much.

Was living in a 'residence' at the time. I don't fully recall what I did, but I think it involved making a desperate run to the beer store to see if they were open, and they were....I guess that's why I don't fully recall
I was living near said 'residence' at the time. I think I spent the entire time trying to find a girl to spend it with... Rather than sitting back an enjoying the silence.
