  1. I've never fished with anyone from the board.

By I am looking forward to fishing with all the guys at the Nip G2G..

I have met a few guys out and about, but never fished with any of em.. (Brian, and Fisherman..)

  2. First they where saying the 90 cars derailed and colided with a second train.

Latest i herd was that only 21 cars derail, and side swipped some cars on a train parked adjadcent to the derailed train.

Still though. that's only a few minutes south of my cottage.

    Hope knowone was injured.

  3. I talked to one of my buddies who dives at BBP. According to him, which may not be the most credible info. He tells me that there is a resident who lives very close to the public docks, who doesn't feel divers should be using the public dock. I guess boating only?? Supposedly this guy is a big lawyer from the city..

A dive shop owner from the city has had enough of this guys giving him grief for using the dock. So I guess, as of lately, this resident lawyer, and dive shop owner have been going at it on a regular basis.

May not be true, or story maybe be one-sided.. Just passing on what I herd.. Fuel for the fire right.

Thanks for posting this Aaron. The e-mail mentioned they closed the parking lot because of Suba divers. I know lots of guys who scuba dive in the area. I wonder why residents don't want them around.. Seems a littel weird to me :dunno:

  5. Way to go Nick. Is that a Bravo "Trapper". Nice light sled that isn't fast but works hard.

Good eye. It's actually an bravo Transporter, short track. I just build a storage box for the back, so it looks like a trapper. I wish it was a trapper! Good working sled, until you fill the engine compartment with snow, then.. Not so much..

  6. I thought that first pic was from the 80's!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    :clapping:

Is see how you could think that!! :D 87' Bravo, fuzzy cell phone picture, and what appears to be a dirty stash on my face..

That looks like a good fish their was the coffee frozen before you got back to it 3 minutes later. BRRRR

Cold, but not frozen!.. The baileys makes it seem warm, no mater how cold it gets.

  7. For the past few weeks, it's been perch, after perch, after perch..

Finally I managed to ice a decent Simcoe Whitie. First for the year. We didn't mark much in the way of white fish schools. the odd loner cruising through. Lots of perch.

I decided to take a coffee break. So I sat my rod down, and poured a cup. Halfway through my cup of joe, I notice a single whitie on bottom. Put down the cup down. Jig jig.... Bang. Gotta love it.
