  1. Wayne, that's just a gorgeous piece of cabinetry. It reminds me of the plans I looked at in either OC or OOD magazine. She seems to be a very capable young lady. Goodonya, you have every right to be proud of her.

You don't need to ask her to make one for you. Just have the lucky guy marry her. Easy. Never mind, it looks like that's gonna happen anyway, no stoppin that train.

  2. Bernie, that's exactly what I thought, 500 years before the Egyptians started to make their pyramids, the bloody Irish made a theatre that was lit up once a year by the sun, to celebrate the end of teh darkness. The structure was built out of rocks.

That sounds as though they had some time on their hands, plenty o meat and hides, the kids were doing well at school and the retirement fund was coming along nicely.

That was a full thousand years before Stonehenge was built, too. That accuracy of planning and design could exist 5000 (FIVE THOUSAND) years ago boggles this here mind.

Especially in Ireland. I can say this really slow, one more time, for the Irish.

  3. Garmin 60 and 76 series have the industry's most sensitive receiver. I've got a 76 CSX, so I agree with Dan and Terry on the choice. The topo maps are incredible, showing every street in Canada. They are also unlocked, if you know what I mean.

  4. Try a bottle or two of Argentinian wine, especially a Malbec blend of Syrah, Cabernet, or Merlot. They might not be equal to an $18 bottle of Australian jam, but very very good at $10 or less.

Another tip might be to try Segura Viudas Spanish champange type of bubbly. Some very fine bottles at $15, excellent for the hot tub on New Year's Eve.

If you know someone who has space in a hot tube on NYE, I'm just sayin. *pm*

  5. I cook all the fish at this place, and I usually coat with flour and breadcrumbs and fry in butter/olive oil. Sometimes I will make a sauce with lemon and dill and cover with it after the turn, about 5 minutes before serving. Or, a dollop of mango curry sauce - great on salmon.

Mackerel fillets, fried crispy and served with a green tomato chow is fabulous, right near the top of my list.

  6. Beats, ya, that's what burned em, the auger spinning in the hole which lead to the stomp and resulting screw up. It looked like they were still short on the uh length, they had bottomed out before at the beginning of the clip.

It was still hilarious - "I told you the manual crank is the way to go".
