Just had to post this. My friend and I decided to give Bass tournaments a try this year and well it has its ups and downs. Just to make a long story short... We fished the Top Bass series two weeks ago at Rice lake. We were really excited to fish, but as soon as we launched the boat my buddy went to park the vehicle and THE WHEEL FELL OFF the trailer!!! (could gave been worse). SO the people at B J TACKLE were extremely heplful and not only let us dock our boat there for the week(free) but also made arrangments to have the trailer repaired at a very reasonable price. SO JUST WANTED TO THANK THEM AND LET EVERYONE ON THIS BOARD KNOW that they went out of their way to help us out.

question is when trying to keep track of what you have in the livewelll(size or weight). I have two livewells where the 3 bigger are in one livewell and other two smaller are in the other. But as the day goes on and if you get lucky and can upgrade a few times. What is the best method to keep track? I write down length of the fish, but trying to pick out the smaller one from the tank is challenging and puts lots of stress on the fish. Is there a tag system available in the market? For example something fish friendly that can clip on with colour or number code? I thought this forum would be the best place to ask since the community has some very knowledgable members. Thanks in advance.. OH first year doing tournaments and I am like a kid at Christmas eve.LOL!!

hit Keswick Thurs, Fri and Sunday lots of little guys had to work hard for the slabs. Things were definitely slowing down by Sunday so that was my last trip there this year. Hoping Rice will be good this year, but it will be a mad house this weekend. Here is a few from Friday past. only kept a dozen the rest were released.

I own a pair of streamside breathables and so far 2 seasons of hard fishing no wear yet. Angling outfitters in woodstock has them can't beat his prices and warranty here is there number 1519 539 5494. They are in woodstock ontario. WORTH the drive from Mississuaga. They have a wide selection of other breathables there and I am only posting this because i have been very happy with their service and product. Highly recommended.

double check your regs, i think everything is out of season at least till next week saturday for trout(no trout in those places) crappie and lots of pike with the odd bass, but again those are out of season. not to sure about the crappie maybe some else could clarify...

east tribs are pretty much done with the odd one around, next rain will bring in a few and maybe bring down drop backs. was out on the weekend and we caught mostly suckers
