Clearly I'm not a MD but that's not how these things usually work?
Here's your explanation KF.
Everyone is born with a hole in their heart, which resembles a flap-like opening in the wall that divides the right and left atrium. It typically seals completely during infancy, but for about 25 per cent of people, that opening never completely closes.
Normally, blood enters the heart’s right side and gets pumped to the lungs, where little micro blood clots get filtered. The blood then returns to the heart’s left side and is pumped out to the body.
However, if there’s an opening in the wall, blood can flow from the right to the left side, meaning those bits of blood clots don’t get filtered by the lungs. Instead, they get pumped out into the arteries that take blood to the brain. If a clot cuts off normal blood flow to the brain it results in a stroke.
There's a lot more info in the article.

Great laker and pike bait too.

Those are ciscoes Brian.
They do grow to a pretty decent size though.
This area is a set of falls between the lake I'm building my cabin on and Great Slave.
They run there in the fall to spawn.
Haven't tried eating them as they are bait to catch food sized fish.

thanks for the replies guys much appreciated.ya... i think i will just have some idea "accident" happen and take the insurance money and take an early retirement fishing out my days lol. I'm going to stroke out the idea of a new house. Its out of our price range, we are looking at around $150,000 house.
Good idea!!!
It's a good thing you don't live in Yellowknife because $150K will buy you half a trailer!!!!

My guess is the hole in the heart issue threw a clot that ended up in his brain causing the stroke.

Can't see the Leafs losing to the Sideen sisters on Saturday. Looking good going into the Olympic break, but a tough schedule after that.
Henrik is supposed to be out for the next two games.
He's not going to the Olympics now either.

Good overall game.. Mason Raymond and ya , Clarkson really stood out to me tonight..Were 2 ahead of the Habs and 1 behind Tampa for 3rd..Id like to go into the break in 3 rd place but that means we have to beat Vancouver Sat night..They have always been a pain in the but for the Leafs..Go for the win boys!
Go Leafs Go!!!
UHHHH, no we're not. Habs won tonight too 5-2 over the sliding Canucks, so we're still even but lower in the standings.
Habs and Leafs are one point behind Tampa.

I say smother her with a pillow and dump her body in the woods.
You can then sell the house and move to a log cabin in BC and fish full time living off the insurance money!!!

Fishing is the answer for everything!!!

No need to enter if you want to fish with me. Just haul your rapidly shrinking butt back to Ontario.
Or you could haul yours to YK.
-
I would enter but having to spend a week in a boat with you again............................
Plus I'm gonna be in Alaska chasin' fishes.

NHL Game Center Live here.

I put one from Cabelas on my 18' side console last year.
I used sliding tracks so I could place it where I wanted it when deployed or stowed.
I don't see why it wouldn't work with a tiller.

No, I'm bitter because a repeat offender took liberties with crushing a player, from behind, head first into the boards and none of my team had the nads to permanently remove him from the game. And yes, I hope Kadri gets his like the dirty player he is.....boo hoo ...big surprise!!!
-
He's just bitter because Alfie had the sense to bail while the bailing was good.

Should be, September is usually a good month for them.

Ain't that the truth!!!!
GO JETS GO!!!!!
Shots are 7-1 for the Jets so far.
Keep it up boys!!!

There's a reason I don't use puny little 8" augers when I go out.

I'm a big fan of Eureka tents.
I have one of their 4 season tents but their 3 season tents are quality also.
Eureka's customer service is awesome also. When my tent was 5 or 6 years old my main hoop pole broke.
I called Eureka and they said no problem, mail it to us and we'll take care of it.
It only cost me postage to them and it was fixed like new.
