  1. Will try that Bill, but, very little showing up at the bottom. We could go 15mins or more before we saw another on the bottom.Again maybe 4-5 at the most.

The fellow I was fishing with was jigging in the 40' range with a swim bait and that's when he hooked up.95% of the fish Sunday were in the 35-60' range.Never seen that many on the screen ever. lol.

Sometimes they're inactive and won't chase a lure.

Seems like this was one of those days as they were keying in on your buddies vertical presentation.

  2. With Cabela's you get free ship-to-store shipping. If you're within driving distance of the Barrie store it makes things considerably cheaper. I believe the free shipping over $75 on the Bass-Pro website would be continental U.S. only.

Cabela's ship to store does not work to Canadian stores if ordering off the US (Cabelas.com) site. They will only ship to US stores from the US site and Canadian stores from the Canadian site.

The BPS shipping deals are to Canada as well. There is an added $3.50 brokerage fee.

I have ordered plenty of gear with $0 or $5 shipping from their site.

Cabela's shipping deals are continental US only.

  3. Too many places I would like to fish.

    Seeing how #sharkweek starts tomorrow.

If I could only fish one place and if it were made legal to fish there.

I would fish top water seal imitations off shark island South Africa for Great White Sharks!!!! :good: :good:

Out of your list though Costa Rica would be my choice.

Kamchatka Russia (for char and rainbows) would be high on my list as would West Africa (not now though. need to knock down that ebola thing) for gigantic tarpon. Mongolia for taimen, Thailand for some crazy cat fishing. Far off places like Easter and Christmas Islands would be some neat places to visit. New Zealand and Chille for the trout fishing and the Amazon for some of thier crazy :asshat: fish.

Sooooooo many places and too little time. :D

  4. I don't like other people working on my rig so I would do it myself. :P

I find it really hard to pay someone else a bunch of $$$$ for something I can do.

If I were to take it to a shop for a clutch or tranny issue it would be a tranny shop.

    Mr T, Aamco etc.
