  1. Harrison, here's a link to a friend of mines Blog.....it'll give you a great impression of the fishing caliber and opportunities in SE ON. http://rjnbirdeesoutdooradventures.blogspot.com/
  2. Did you guys row over there, or did you just turn around and cast over. Nice bass for the mrs.
  3. Did you attempt to put your hands around anything of his prior to them demanding to get to shore?
  4. Thanks for taking me to a few of your cat spots Rich. I enjoyed that. Hopefully we'll get out again sometime soon. The drake didn't even budge, but like any typical hen....show them the right piece of meat and they cant resist gobbling it down.
  5. Way to go Rich, now the swearing guys are gonna show up and ruin it for the kids.
  6. You're supposed to pick a night! When we goin!?
  7. Doin Great....back in ON for a bit and getting all the usual spring fishing in. Switching gears and heading out for carp this weekend. I'll be lookin for your FL reports, I always enjoy those. Loved the pics of your little lady you shared too! Great to see her and dad out fishing.
  8. Nice to see the carp are active Rich. I'm gonna give em a go myself this weekend. Good fishin.
  9. LOL Jamie. What kind of love are you gettin from those carp? haha How's it goin man? Are you going to be chasing ole onion ring lips all summer, or are you planning on hitting up some ski's too?
  10. Good stuff Rich. Glad you enjoyed your visit. The Cornwallis river is a great system. It see's a lot of pressure, but it's always good for a few fish. Come back and visit!
  11. Hey Rich....holding up another mans accomplishment and claiming credit....this is the brown trout all over agian. Pass on my congrats to Candice.....tell her it's from the drive thru window creep. Awesome stuff. Drop me a line about Friday.
  12. Awesome! Some quality fish there for your dedicated efforts. I'm sure the summer will be as equally rewarding. Great pics.
  13. It's a true statement Cookslav, but it only takes one sherlock holmes member to reply with "Ohhhh, Lake x..." and it's added to the Lurker hot spot list.
  14. Good effort Tracy. Ya fell pretty short of LSC, but ya found some fishable water. That's a decent spot, but it see's a ton of daily pressure. You have some better pike spots closer to home. Glad to see you're still getting out. We have some crappy weather coming at us now, so we'll see what that does to us for options. Hopefully it opens more up.
  15. Is it really a personal best if it's a guided personal best? Good fishin Jamie!
  16. Anytime you're fishing it's great. Good luck today Amo.
  17. Amo, the common "clean up your garbage" and "respect the enviornment" rants are always well recieved amongst the angling comunity. I do think though that what you're seeing in your video isn't quite the same as littering. I don't think an angler stood there and peeled 100 feet of line of and tossed it on the ground. I think it's more likely the after effect of someone getting busted of by a fish or from a tangle on a long drift. The dead line you're seeing eventually gets tangled in sticks and debris and washes up on the bank when creek levels flucuate. Combine that with with a high pressure trib like the one you are walking and you'll unfortunately see it a lot. It's good to pick it up like you did....it happens to us all. Timmies cups and worm ontainers are what urk me the most.
  18. Good fishing Shaun. Kevin has aged 10 years since I've seen him last. Congrats on a great couple of days on the bay.
  19. Hey Amo, nice meeting you Friday afternnon. Sorry we didn't have time to chat a little more. The ducks were waiting and Tim looked eager to hit the creek. I was hoping you guys would have gotten into them. It was a beautiful afternoon. I'm now tempted to trade in my waders for a pair of "amo creek walking hot pants". I'm sure we'll cross paths again. Cheers until we do.
  20. I couldn't continue watching and shut it down. I kept waiting fo rthe punch line. Did the little dude ever take one between the eyes before it ended?

    Apology

Rich. I know you're in a position where things have spun out of control and you've been pigeon holed into an admission of guilt, but I want to say that it certainly does take guts to admit it and ask for forgiveness. The internet makes the world a very small place. Good luck with things.
  22. Squid, Mikes buddy posted it on NFN yes. It's also been posted here on OFC and other boards by another individually falsely claiming to have caught it though. It's good to see credit being given to the correct person. It's not everyday one of those are caught. Heck of a fish.
  23. FF, we were there yesterday working the walleye. No iants for us, just your typical BOQ toads. Good luck on Wednesday!
  24. What a day! Hit the local trib with my buddy and man am I glad we did! First up was Jammer! He landed a pig of a brown! 22lbs! Caught on a 8 foot rod, with 8lb mainline and 6lb leader line bouncing bottom. The fishing gods must have been feeling extremely generous, because my luck would be equally as good! Another 22lb brown!! What are the odds? Now before everyone starts thinking that's the same fish, I just want to reasure you that it was caught in a totally different place. This is one of the best fish I have every caught in my life! So I took some time and got a really great picture. Does anyone know what the Ontario Record is for Brown Trout? In all seriousness, I want to say congratulations to Mike, a new local to our area. He caught a pig of a brown trout and deserves a huge pat on the back for it too. Fish of a lifetime as far as I'm concerned. Just a shame it got pulled into a silly childish crap storm of Bull. Congrats on your catch Mike! I'm still drooling! ...and I'm looking forward to meeting you on the water some day to share a few laughs.
