  10. Trout season is ending up here this weekend and today, could not resist the temptation to target them, but a newbie to fishing was invited to tag along and we had a great time My daughter's boyfriend (Vincent) never caught a trout in his life and today, was able to accomplish his dream of catching one.... well two has a matter of fact He manage to land a couple of beauties in the 9" 1/2 inches range In the 5 hours of fishing, our total was 3 today. Wish we could of had more But all in all was a great time on the shore Made this little video / slideshow for your viewing pleasure Enjoy! Troutjunkie

  13. Thanks Mark!!! Much appreciated
  14. Thanks Drew!!! That laker was the first fish of the day... 5 - 10 min work out after arriving on the spot and it was FISH ON!!! Gave me a great fight bull dogging, gator roll and drag peeling was some of the highlights in this 15 min fight Good thing I had spooled my reel with 14LBS mono the night before and Paul brought his Frabril musky size net Couldn't imagine using my regular one I have for this brute. Thanks Eric!!! You bet Thanks Roy!!! Both days the wind was constant and had a good chop Thanks Rick!!! It was indeed a super time Thanks Mike!!! Thanks Frankie!!! 40 - 50 bass day of all sizes was what we experienced Thanks Will!!!
  15. Like the title says, a couple of outings with my good friend Paul aka whitespinnerbait this past couple of weeks.... Lots of time spent on the water fishing Managed a PB Laker measuring 26.5" caught on a Macho minnow, jigging in 45' of water while drifting Lots of smallies and largies caught in a variety of sizes... Paul managed to hook into a brute of a smallie on a top water chug bug our second time out with a massive palette that pushed into nickle status... hope Paul post the pic of it cause that was the biggest small mouth bass I've ever seen and don't have it on my camera. Best ones shown in the videos below, caught on different lures, mostly on senkos wacki style. Never seen so many big bass in my life... Special thanks goes out to Paul for inviting me along and sharing his knowledge for this special time!!! Hope you enjoy! 16. Nice video Terry and good choice of tunes Next time instead of speeding up the vid, cut out what you don't want your audience to see and use the side swipe effect from left to right... imo it's a more effective way than speeding it up Looks like fun times! bet there was some good stories telling between the bytes Jacques
  17. Trilene XL as well... and XL Armor Coated is good too, both very strong line
  18. Yep!!! Merci Old Ironmaker!!! Thanks Nick!!! Yeah the weather is all over the place this weekend made the best of it Thanks Dan!!! Yeah that was the perfect number Thanks Rick!!! Now there's an idea Thanks Chad!!!

  21. A good friend of mine, Raymond, called me last night, asking if I wanted to go specks hunting tomorrow.... reply was... YOU BET even though the weather forecast wasn't at it`s best but who rely on a forecast anyway Then it dawned on me.... Ray's birthday's is tomorrow (70th - June 1st 2013).... AWESOME Let's make the best of it Up at 5h00am, car packed by 5h30am, couple of stops for gas and breakfast and made my way to Ray's home.... got his gear pack in the car and when he got into the passenger side, had a gift for him laying on the seat.... Inside was a card and a framed picture of his last trout he had caught last week like this one below: His smile made my morning even though rain was coming down pretty hard... got to destination at 7h15 and by 7h30 were setup and fishing Rain was coming down a little and the black flies weren't too bad... then I hear Ray say: Fish on Got his first trout in the box Then he says to me: " C'est 1 Zéro " Well, that right there, put a big smile on my face As the morning progressed, the black flies got busier but the pokadots were shy... so I decided to light a fire next to shore and lay a few layers of pine needles... that created a cloud of smoke for a while and kept them at bay By noon, the black flies were relentless and we just couldn't take them anymore so we left Trout count... 6 all caught on my slip bobber rigs Made my day Last pic... trying to get creative... this what I was able to get Bonne Fête Raymond!
