i have a question about the cork handle on these rods, they are split handle, have a space in between, what is this for? some people said its for casting, some for balance, some just cus the looks, is this a good spinning rod for plastics? tia

hey guys went to AlFlahertys and bought 2 QUANTUM CATALYST rods, 7 footers, medium heavy, 1 spinning, 1 casting, what do yall think of these? i have the Abu garcia 4600 c3 on the casting, and sedona 100 on spinning, i really like the handle, its got that space, its quite nice, i have a quaetion about the IM of a rod, what does this mean? and is it the higher IM the better, typically?

hey guys, ok i just recieved my abu garcia 4600c3 reel, im looking to pair it up with a rod, i fish bass and pike, also im gonna return the fenwicks and im looking at the clarus rods, 69$ range, the reels that need pairs are sedona 100, shimano castaic, and the abu, any help much appreciated

my second option were the clarus rods, what about these?

hey guys i went to BPS today and bought Fenwick Canadian Method rods, bot spinning and casting, spinning is 7 ft M, casting is 6'6 M, both 2 peice, what do yall think of these rods?
