Hit the ice this morning for some Pike, it's been 2 months since the last Pike outting due to my new acquired taste for perch.. Set up shop in 9 fow and baited my tip-up with a 9 inch Portugese sardine, not even 20 minutes later bam fish on!!! I would guess she was around 34-36 inches.. The next 2 hours was non stop action and all the pike were caught on deadbait... Marked a fish on the finder and peered down the hole wow a nice size Pike sniffed my jig a few times then swam off wasnt intrested in my plastic minnow...The area produces some nice size Pike and it just so happens I'm on afternoons all week so I can catch the moring bite all fish hit between 8 and 11am.. Although I only landed two it was still a awesome morning....

Thanks for buying the truck, I built the seats for that baby in NewMarket although now the Ridgeline is being produced in Alabama aswell as the seats your purchase has insured another paycheck for me which means more fishing gear

There is a half sunk hut in the southeast corner of the bay its been there for a few years now if thats the same one, no numbers on it..Sad story...

I use hole portugese sardins from Zehrs there around 8-12 inch and I also picked up some sea herring around 20 inch, heads and tails on both I never had luck with just the body and I let it sit about 2 feet from bottom under a tip-up vertical it works for me.. The biggest taker so far was 35 inch pike...

Went 2 for 3 on pike yesturday the first catch was on a tip-up baited with a 9 inch dead portuguese sardine, the second on a pink tube jig the third was also on a pink tube jig but lost him. The first pike almost spooled the hole tip-up the second one was caught in the hut, I felt a little nibble so I looked down the hole and there he was I watched him cruise around then he decided to take the jig as I'm watching so I let him then I set the hook that happened twice and I did see more under the hut wow I've never seen anything like it.. Heading back out today...

Thanks men!!! I just checked strikemasters website and they will ship a new tank for 48$$...
-
The tank is plastic and yes it is overlapping but it looks as though its not overlapping properly in the corner, I tried to squeeze the bottom half of the tank to see if I could re-aline but no go so I thought it may be easier to seal it....thanks
-
Last year I bought a used 1989 strikemaster and it works great but I did notice the tank was leaking. The tank is made in two pieces and its leaking where the two pieces are joined my question is how can I fix this without buying a new one??
