Will I,ll be making my first outting Saturday am.I wondering what you all were finding as far as numbers go. Are you seeing many,or are we in the middle or end of thier 7 year cycle?
Thanks inadvance.
Brian.
Just like to say a special thanks to Joe and Art for the reel and the bait. I wasnt sure what I would be using it for,so I told the boys not to worry about spooling it up,but with the bait that was sent with it( a very nice bonus surprise BTW TY) I,ll be spooling it up with 80 PP and it will be my new reel for pike and musky.
Thanks again fellas
NO, there you will find the rocker cover gasket.
The head gasket is th next thing, when you remove the head. Not a job I want to do again in the back lot.LOL
Can we have a guy with a shotgun, crossbow, camera, dingalings? We have a guy with a rod and reel after all.
I do believe I was told this once,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,SUCK IT UP BUTTER CUP.
Oh come on,we all know you have to, RIP IT UP AND RIP IT UP. Sets the hook better. J/K.
I like to slowly raise and lower 2 inches. Every once and awhile,I give it a good jerk,so it will fluter and give off a flash.
I believe my bro memart is heading out with our pop. I can just see him now, with that brand new gas auger. He,ll be drill,n and drill,n and not fish,n. Just like a guy with a new bass boat.LOL
Rich tell me and the others why? PLEASE
I would like to hear this, along with others, Im sure.
To me, it was the entry fees going up and up.but if I wanted to play,I payed. I always knew I was not the top guy or even the 10th guy,but hey,I got lucky once and got the big smallie on 6 Mile. Im sure Spike remembers that day. They say some remember those days the most. I know I will never forget that day. I couldnt wait to get to the stand to get it wieghed in.
If your going to buy a manual,go with the finbor 3 . STAY away from the old style.
A tip for ya. LET THE AUGAR DO THE CUTTING FOR YA. Just turn it. It will go down by it,s self. DO NOT try to push it through the ice.
I remember the days when I drove my ol chevette from Barrie to Keswick, all the way back to the barrie tiffin launch. Then again, what does a chevette wiegh? LOL
Boy did she fly over the cracks though.
I hear ya there, and they think, yer being RUDE, when you say, NO, you cant use it.
Great post Chris.
I have found ,with the new finbors,if you let the augar cut on it,s own,and DONT let anyone else use it,it lasts along time.
Take what Charles and Mark said to heart. You will learn more In one season joining a GOOD club, then you will ,in 5 years on your own.
I have not looked to see if CSFL has a pro/am this year, but it would be worth looking into.
I was lucky enough to fish with some of the Canadian greats during my pro/ams and learned a TON.
Went and bought my own boat and tried it on my own. Believe me,it was great to be out there, but the cost is not for the light pocketed.
There are many ups and downs. it,s a major roller coaster ride.
PS, YOU WILL MAKE SOME GREAT FRIENDS ASWELL.
