Lake Trout in zone 16 is open January 1st to September 30th

Many people think the fish are not biting at certin times but its how you are fishing. They will bite all day just got to know the techniques during the times of day. When is cooler slow down, warmer speed up, when there is a chop on the water go for baits that make a lot of flash and attraction because visibility is decreased. When it's calm go for a settle bait with maybe a rattle to make that fish home in on the bait. There is never a time of day when a fish "wont bite", you just need to be skilled at what you are doing and you will be fine. Just like tournament anglers they dont get to pick the conditions and alot of the time they pull through.

2 good brands i like are Booyah and Strike King. If either brands are on sale pick up some, as for other brands just look for a quality hook, steel wire and stainless steel blades and a high grade skirt.

At the lake i fish at alot i see pleanty of pike. The problem is im a bass fisher and im not sure on how to catch these fish. Can i catch pike on any bass tackle i may have.

Ok, as some of you heard i am going against LittleAngler this upcoming summer. I got loads of tackle but as for rods i only got 2:(. I got a 6'6medium action spinning sombo, and a 7' medium heavy spinning combo. I need help to list all the different ways i can use these two rods. Example, what can each rod do. I may have one more rod prior to suller most likely a medium action 6'6 Shimano baitcast combo. Heres what i got so far: 6'6-Tubes, crankbaits, drop shot, topwaters. 7'- Jerkbaits, stickbaits, jigs, frogs, swimbaits. and as for the new rod i unno or do i need it. Thanks to anyone that can help.

I was gonna go to lake Scugog try to catch some perch or something. Nothing else is open in the area right now but panfish.

TV coverage. I don't know about TV, but i might film a fish or two with my camera. You never know thats how shows start pretty much if u have a camera and u can fish u got a fishing show.

Ok Ok wait a minute here. So the rules are one week of fishing. We each are going on a week trip during this upcoming summer. He is going fishing in end of July and im going for my trip beguinning of August. So we are going to be taking pictures of every bass we catch over 10inches in lenght. I have a digital scale so i will take accurate weights and lenghts. I will try to include the info in the pictures the best i can. Then we seem to have some prizes going out we got hometownhandyman giving the winner a Shad Rap, and Mark Kulik giving the winner 5 packs of Strike Zone dropshot baits and a Strike Zone Hat. Tell everybody about your mose enjoyable catch.Was it released was it kept. My most enyoyable catch wasn't a monster. I was fishing early morning with a friend. I was casting a Yum Dinger and i noticed a big swirl in the water underhanging a tree branch. I reeled in my bait quickly and threw it in there, moments later i hooked it to a nice 3lb largemouthbass. My reel was being striped of line. Anyway not a huge fish but one of the best experiences for me.
