  1. Well the fishing was not that great. Came close to a free t-shirt on a pike and a walleye. Looks like all the plant life is dying off already. But the food was great. More then a person needs . Staff great. Had a lot of fun with the boys on the atvs. Regards.
  2. Thank you CrowMan. We are planning on the atv trip. Can only hope for decent weather now. regards
  3. There is a place in Peterborough. kawarthapropeller.com Did my prop a few years ago. Did a good job and balanced.
  4. Good day. Myself and 4 buddies heading to Waterfalls Lodge in early Sept. Planning on doing some atving and fishing. First time to this location. Was wondering if anyone would care to share any tips , tricks , general info on this area ? Any and all info would be appreciated. I am sure looking forward to this trip. Regards, Dave.
  5. Not sure if you tried but measure from corner diagonally to opposite corner. I can fit a 8 ft 2x4 by doing so. Regards
  6. Cliff you should check this place out. Shediac Lobster Shop Ltd. - Specializing In The Foodservice Industry Can buy from this place raw or cooked. Was there years ago. There is also a fishing wharf around there with a restaurant on the water. Regards
  7. Got mine in the mail today but, save your refund for annual safeties !!!🤫
  8. Just a caster and scenery watcher.
  9. In the early morning before the sun is even up sneak down to the bank, but do a cast when you are still 10 ft away. Then when you get to the bank cast along the shore lines first. Use a small/mid size surface bait. Big fish will be in hunting. Once you have done the banks start fan casting using a number 4 or 5 blue fox. Do the same in the evening just as the sun goes down. Do try to where dark clothes, just to try to blend in with the trees. Small baits in the spring increasing in size as the year goes on. Good luck.
  10. Yes this is why I asked. Try to have about an inch of your bunk past your boat. This helps support your transom when traveling and your motor is torquing the back of your boat when hitting bumps.

  12. Just curios. Do you have any of your boat hanging off the bunks at the back? Regards
  13. Just so you know. The perch fishing you do not need to walk far. Pike a bit further, whities and trout further yet. When there is snow on the ice and you are dragging your gear out it can be a work out, especially wearing the extra clothing. Go with an operator. Much more fun when you can set up faster instead of a 1/2 hr walk. Regards
  14. I found you didn't have to go far. I would stay in the 10 -20 ft range. Pike cruise at all depths. There are two bays you could try. One is straight across the other is to the right of the boat ramp. Good luck.
  15. akaShag. You could try this site to find whities Fish ON-Line (gov.on.ca)
