  1. Two 27 series batteries in the front and single in the back. Helped having a built in gas tank. Big difference between a 169 and 145 though.
  2. I don't think this one has a remote? There were also some big changes to bluetooth around 2016. Guys on BBC forum will help you knowing what to buy.
  3. That is the same as the one I had on my 169. I'd like a foot pedal even though I used the remote 90% of the time.
  4. Very interesting. Expensive?
  5. I had a 24V/80lb Terrova on my 169 with spot lock and ipilot and it was a game changer. You don't need the transducer built in.
  6. Okay. Then you shouldn't.
  7. You can't. Alternator is to keep your starter motor maintained. I managed to squeeze 2 deep cycle batteries and a built in charger in the bow compartment.
  8. I was about to reply almost exactly what Randy said. Start with a compression check on a warm engine.
  9. Nice boat! You will be really happy with it. I'd repower with a 90HP if this motor is shot.
  10. BTW I sold this boat for $8500 in 2020
  11. I usually fish by myself and this boat has lots of room to get around. You can land a fish from anywhere. 2 people is fine too. A little deeper makes it warmer. Great hole shot and smooth ride when calm. Storage is pretty decent as well. Fit and finish quality was good. If I really hung it out, I could get 34 mph. It was hard to hit 30 with 2 people. I sold it because I live on Cooks Bay / Lake Simcoe and the boat got slammed big time when it got rough. It also leaked because there was a patch at the bottom and it was not repaired properly.
  12. I had a 1996 Princecraft 169 that I sold in 2020 to buy my Ranger Fisherman (same as the red one in the Meme above) Amazing boat and fished better than my Ranger. It had the original 90HP Rude on it and rode very well.
  13. Lake O. East end.
  14. I used a bolt then adhesive shrink wrap. On the positive connection I taped a clear hose over it to keep the 2 connections from rubbing against each other.
