Not sure what happened, but while doing my Ride the Rideau 100k cycle for cancer 3 hrs after my dad passed away this summer, something changed in me. The 3.15 hrs it took me to do the ride was filled with emotion and grief. I must say I'm a changed person. Very little tolerance for rude, obnoxious people who are self centered. I have more patience and fully believe the world needs to slow down and think of harmony, not horror.

I'd say you're pretty lucky it wasn't catastrophic, could have been a total loss.

While steel roofs are definitely better for longevity, they are also noisy. Not that is a problem, just be prepared for it. Get yourself a qualified installer and you'll have years of worry free roofing. There are some pretty good shingles out there now as well. If they say 50 years and it goes at year 49, well then, you get a free roof. Whatever you go with, just be absolutely sure the product is install 100% to manufacturers specifications.

I've had fluoro leaders last for 3-4 years. When you factor in how long they last, I'm still on my first coil of 100' fluoro after 8 years, one can hardly complain about cost. Mind you I did win it on a Muskies Canada prize table.

I've been tying my own leaders for years. Get a coil of 150-200lb fluorocarbon leader material and some 300lb swivels. I use the perfection loop and have never had a failure.

That would imply that the laffs are a bull, I hardly think the fit the bull category. I'm pretty sure they fall into the donkey or llama category! Maybe even monkey or poodle

I've booked a trip in Feb for a week at Memories resort on Grand Bahamas island. I've done some Googleing to find out about fishing and found there is a flat to the east of the resort that DIY'ers can wade for Bonefish. Looking for any feedback on experiences, guides, must do's and must do nots for while I'm there. Thanks

Hahahaha the last time Kesel was a season plus player was 2008-2009 when he was with the Bruins. Man I bet he wishes he was never traded to the laffs. Once again it just proves that the blue and white disease is a career killer for players.
