Goodbye wheel bearings, ball joints, tie rods etc lol!
Pretty damn sweet regardless, though i would never run those on my truck
-
Awesome. I'd get the 4-door diesel in a heartbeat. Who would make the smaller diesel for Ford?
-
That looks like a ton of fun. Wish the big river had good ice up by me.
-
My typical cut-off is about -25. Anything colder than that is just a sled ride for me
-
Any sled will be 'tippy' without a towbar attached to it. With a towbar, I can't see how that's even possible.
Yup. I broke trail into a back lake through 3 feet of powder the other day and it worked great lol

If most of your 4x4 usage is at boat ramps and you dont spend much time on rough trails, the Wrangler Duratrac/Territory might be a little too rougj and noisy for what you need. You wont get that kind of treadlife with many A/T's (definitely not the Cooper's or Motomaster's) but I would reccomend the Wild Country XTX (great deal at Caltire) or the Firestone Destination A/T's. I'm gonna put the M/T's on my truck next spring...awesome tires for a good price

50 bucks????? I've had the same 12 dollar frabil for years and years now and its caught more eyes and perch than you could shake an icicle at!
That being said, if you insist on getting a blank that really feels nice and functions well the St. Croix's are certainly the nicest I've ever seen.

The slush looks gross!! But nice feed!
-
Beautiful troots bud! I have seen the rainbow!!!
-
25 - 29 for sure, potentially new years eve/day.
No kids, and it sure is hard to turn down triple time.
-
The one weekend I travel south to visit family I get hit with this crap!
At least I have a pile of fresh powder to look forward to when I get home
-
No idea as to operators, but the lake trout season doesnt start in zone 11 until Feb. 15th, so if you were looking for them consider waiting. Walleye can be a tough fish in the winter on temagami from what i have heard
-
Not anymore.Careful Chad, Nipissing regs are 25 Perch per day with a possession limit of 50.
-
And if their program (as well as every other of its kind) wasn't 110% scripted they might actually be rednecks

2014 licenses are available for purchase now
-
Yes you need a license to wet a line anytime of year and definitely consult some locals on ice conditions since there is likely a lot more unsafe ice than safe ice around there.
Better yet, wait a few weeks and youll have a lot less to worry about, since if you were to buy licenses now they would only be valid until the last day of '13
-
I have a vexilar and have to agree with you lol. Marcum is clearly the superior product these daysreturn it and leave with an lx7...problems solved
-
Lowrance makes a portable 'ice pack' for the HDS units...
-
..for sure Rob and that Limey knows it! I can't stand being downtown Toronto in -6c and a breeze, but am right at home at -30C in Temagami.
Absolutely. That's a wet cold for ya.

Extreeeeeeeeme weather!!!

I had an Aunt that once said she thought is was disgusting that parents take their children hunting. And that those poor kids should be 18 years old first to choose if they want to go hunting or not.
My reply to her was.
I think it is disgusting that parents take their children to church, and that those kids should have to be 18 years old before they choose to be indoctrinated in to any particular religion.
Awesome.

I could do without 'future generations' of bass around here. Considering noone fishes for them up here anyway, It'd be nice to have a year round season with reduced trout and walleye limits, and help cull some of the lakes where they've 'invaded' (introduced).
-
And you enjoy NASCAR...lol. Not sure how small of a brain it takes to find this guy funny, but apparently I don't qualify.
Sorry, I had to.
-
Awesome fish. Sometimes those big browns go on feeding frenzies and they'll only react to fast presentations like what you were using. Congrats
