Old Bravo LT's are outrageously priced. I've seen many 87-90's for upwards of 2 grand!!

Awesome action! Sounds like a healthy fishery

Psssssychadelic video man. Putting the sled away this weekend and I already miss it. Nothing like boondockin' and ditchbangin' in a lite machine

Looks delicious. Outrageously jealous over here

I preferred the 13"6" when i used to fish those streams. You'll see guys with 15's that seem to do just fine lol

I noticed the ice is out in one of your pic's, Still lots of ice here, it is open where the current is stronger.
The stretch up here is open 12 months a year. Even after a week straight of -35 to -40 overnight there was very minimal ice

Thanks Roy. Linking codes weren't done right
The last two years the river has been very low during the summer here in Pet. Last year I camped up river at Drift Wood PC, water was at normal levels there. Guess they were holding it back at the Swisha Dam
Yeah, the levels seemed fairly normal here for the last couple summers

I live on the northern tip of the Ottawa river, and starting in late fall they begin draining the system from Lake Temiskaming and Kipawa all down thru the river. So by this time of the year, the river is typically about 10 feet below normal levels making for some cool hiking, plus I wanted to scope out some potential spots for season opener.Along the way I scored a nice husky jerk in need of a little tlc and dragged about 2 km of line out of the river bed too.

Enjoy your next 2 years of hell on earth!!

Lucky you. Fantastic report

Kick arse! The late winter walleye season you guys have is awesome!
-
Water will be ice cold, fish will likely be shallow. South facing shorelines, dark bottoms and moving water!

There are a couple decent shows on the travel channel now that are based on travel moreso than fishing. I can't think of the name of them for some reason, but good shows. Interesting spots, cool fish, the guy has a serious passion for fishing, and there are NO ADDS at all. He doesn't even mention rods/reels/tackle....he just fishes and loves it.
The traveling fisherman or something like that....I'm having a brain cramp....even river monsters is better than anything on WFN.....
S.
The Fishing Adventurer. Really love that show! No product plugs, amazing destinations and I believe it's an hour long program as well.

For residents of the WMU only, and bear hunting is quite popular with a lot of locals around here

Is that a GTX/GSX? How do you like it in the tight bush trails?
I'm going for a ride shortly...still lots of snow but it's starting to get a wee bit soft around here

At least i was able to fool a few more people in the process of getting fooled myself...damn.

What an awesome adventure. Thanks for sharing.
There's no better way to get to know your machine and what it's capable of.
