Still makes me drool, even when they're frozen solid
-
We enjoyed that beautiful full moon out at the ice bungalow this weekend, thought it was gonna make the big walleyes go crazy at midnight
-
That's quite the heater. My 4 000 BTU heater works wonders in my 4-man I can only imagine what kinda heat that thing doles out.
-
Seems like it to me.
-
Episode 4 should be released tomorrow.
-
Looks like a vent tube from the tank...can't you follow it and see where it goes?
-
Looks like a great trip guys! How far north did you end up going?
-
Wow that's insane! Glad you're okay, were the other guys on the same ice sheet?
-
Holy clear ice, nice whitie
-
Love the show, credit Weib for putting me onto Kanalgratisdotse , the best YouTube channel IMO!
Their channels awesome too, the collab video between the two is hilarious

Slow news day in the bay

I clean them similar to walleye but focus more on the backstraps, the belly meat is no good. The yield of good quality meat is actually pretty small for the size of the fish.

Ya you got a helluva deal for that sled, hopefully it doesn't have any of those AC electrical gremlins
-
Put a live minnow on a set line close to that timber and your luck may change. Most people (myself included 90% of the time) wont jig for a splake if there's live minnows handy.
-
Amazing story, Mike.
-
Watched all 3 so far! Excellent series, great concept and lots of laughs, far superior to anything on TV these days.
-
love the new sled. im going to swap a 144 skid under my 121 700 this off season
Awesome. Seen a few XC's with 136 rails, killer sleds almost considered getting one.

Nice outfit, the honey moon will last for years, " by the powers invested in me I pronounce u man and machine, u may squeeze the throttle"
Oh ya the fishing doesn't look bad either
There may have been some excessive pre-marital throttle squeezing...

Your laker spots should produce ling after dark?
-
I know of a very productive, good sized splake lake behind Powassan if anyone would be down to make the trip, bit of a haul for some of you guys I guess.
-
Fat laker, on the WHITE GRUB! haha

Picked up a 2016 Polaris Indy Voyager 550, 144 in. track. Amazing boondocking and trailbreaking machine....gonna be a long-term honeymoon phase with me
Cant wait until the snow really starts to fly and the fun really starts
Haven't had much time for any serious trips lately but the ling action has been absolutely off the charts on the Ott river now that the ice has set up in our little bay. Averaging 15-20 fish in the first couple hours after dark. Mostly 18-24 in. fish, no hawgs yet. We bring out the portables, heaters, and have a great time.
-
Sweet trail machine! Must ride beautifully
-
You've got the fall hawgs dialed in...awesome pics thanks for the post.
