  1. -41C hutless. It's a dry cold though!!!! -41, no wonder you are looking for a pop up. What would that be if you had a breeze? Oulu Finland in December cold, I will never go back there in this lifetime, I don't know how you frozen nuts do it.

I don't know how you reply to the wrong thread :)
  2. If you haven't explored MNR Fish Online yet, I would highly suggest it. You will see stocking lists of lakes close to the highway you could shoe into. Can't comment on ice conditions but I understand the area does have some very productive trout lakes. Small lakes should be fine for walking (lakes are sleddable here now) but dont take my word for it!

  3. David was an outrageously brilliant songwriter, as well as performer. His golden era of 'The Man Who Sold The World' through to 'Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps)' in the 70's contains much of the most brilliant pop and rock and roll (and everything in between) I've ever heard. His influence is heard in everything from bubblegum pop to heavy metal, and his sex, drugs, and rock and roll debauchery in his heyday surpassed just about anyone else this world has ever seen. A true legend in every sense of the word, and it sounds as though his last album released just a few days is absolutely great, apparently the best thing hes done in years.

  4. thanks Chris and Tender, thats why i love this place.....id like to break up the stretch between Nipigon and Iroquois falls anyone know a good spot half way? preferably with good fishing. i have 4x4 dont mind crown land. i would also love to park the trailer and a truck on a beach somewhere along the way for a night.

Long Lake might be worth looking into. Crosses the hwy and apparently excellent fishing.

Still gotta love the simple, small time, blue collar fish reports. Better than a political horse dump any day IMO. Hopefully more of these in 2016.

Amen! Less and less of these over the years unfortunately. Seems most people here talk fishing more than they actually fish and the few that do fish don't post anything. I think most of the blue collar daytrip guys that fish a lot and wanted to talk fishing have left OFC due to the vast majority of the forum being off-topic.
