My wife and I thought the ceremonies were alright.....they started off slow and one thing we both commented on was the fact that the introduction announcement for the ceremonies started in French, was then translated in English and this continued thoughout the entire show
......We could understand if the games were being held in Quebec, but c'mon, Vancouver???????????????????????!!!!

ah ok.
Here is a more realistic and relevant example
"$4,500 In Fines For Illegal Lake Simcoe Herring And Perch
A woman and two men from York Region were fined a total of $4,500 after pleading guilty to taking herring and an over-limit of perch from Lake Simcoe in addition to making false statements to a conservation officer.
Nicola Pertosa and Saverio Zupo, both of Stouffville, and Angela Zupo, of Goodwood, were each fined $750 for taking herring during a closed season and $250 for having too many perch. They were also fined $500 for making a false statement to a conservation officer.
Ah...good old true Canadian names those are

Hey Jacques....you mean to tell me that you dug into your pockets and finally bought an Ontario fishing license
....good on you!!!!....have fun
....there's no stopping ya now

From what I've seen, quads do not depreciate as people would expect them to...that's why it's going to be hard to try and find one for the $2500 you have to spend....
I traded my 2000 Kawasaki Prairie 400cc in when I bought my new 2008 650cc.....the bike was pretty beat up (fell off the ramps while loading into the truck) and needed tires...I got $3300 for it from the dealer...
-
I've got a Kawasaki Brute Force 650 Vtwin......awesome bike....awesome power!!
-
A lot will depend on what the bottom structure consists of....if it's a sandy silty bottom, you may not see you jig clearly if you're bouncing it a foot off the bottom...did you try using the bottom zoom??
-
What do mean that you can't get the last couple of feet???......

Wasnt to bad out there Wayne for half a day. You just had to get away from the crowd and find fish that were active....3 or 4 at a time. If just one fish come in with no compitition you wouldnt get a hit.
Was it you who lost there stuff?
Wayne was fishing the other part of the half day that they weren't biting and he likes to mingle with the crowds...

 Hey Steve.... I'm looking for a musky hunter to test drive this baby..... are you up to it???
Hey Jacques, after seein' that
I think I'll stick to trout for a while.....BUT....whitespinnerbait is really hardstruck to try and get his 2nd Muskie so I bet he'd LOVE to get his hands on that thingy and play with it for a while
-

-
Why are we thanking Wayne? All he did was pilot the thing. It's Lloyd we should be thanking for the lovely video clips!
...you're absolutely right Roy!!!..I take it all back
.....
Hey Lloyd,....thanks for the scenic video....it was awesome!!!!
-
That was awesome.....thanks Wayne
-
Great report Anders!!.....gotta love Specks!!

Look up Rob... that's the picture from Saturday !! It's not snow.. just wind and water movement. There is very little snow up there.. sled trails aren't even open.
Have never fished Diamond.. but check my Diamond overflight video.. pause it and look for shoals! lol
I just heard the same thing regarding ice conditions....some areas are wide open and others have 3 - 4" of ice...the winds have a lot to do with the open water...
Rob....I can probably arrange to rent a cabin on Diamond next winter with huts included...would you be interested??
-
Did i hear.... ICE, READY, TEMAGAMI...
i got tears in my eyes...i had to wait all summer for this..at last she is frozen.. then again summer was awsome on temagami and so was spring..BUT ICE ROCKS..thanks for the updates wayne..
Hey Rob....when are you heading up???......I'll be up there with a few lads from Feb 26th - Mar 2nd...gotta get back on the 2nd due to it being the wife's B'day

I've never had issues in cold weather starting my 2008 650cc Brute Force Kawasaki...it's always parked outside with a cover on it and starts everytime....I do run synthetic oil in it though...
-
Congrats Lew
....that sure is a purdy truck!!!....Almost enough to make me want to trade my lemon in and try again
.......we'll see after February, if I'm offered a job from the new buyer that bought the company I currently work for in an auction
-
Same to everyone from my family to all of yours!!!
-
I'm on my 3rd F-150 4x4 and this last one I bought in 2004 is a LEMON
...
I don't tow a big boat and I don't have a plow on it...There's only 78,000km on it
- The rear pinion bearing had to be replaced at 10,000km.......
- At 43,000km, I took it into the dealer because I noticed the steering was a little stiff....the upper and lower bearings on the steering shaft needed to be replaced ALONG WITH the ball joints and tie rods!!....It was 3 months past the 3 year warranty and luckily, the dealer came through with a "Goodwill" warranty for me
- At 64,000km, the rear axle seals started leaking...
And just recently, the u-joint went and my local mechanic could not repair it due to some wierd type of C-Clip that Ford used on the 2004 models...he said it needed a special type of tool which he didn't have so I ended taking it back to the dealer and got hit with a $400 repair bill
......now I'm trying to figure out what's happening with the huge vibration I'm getting on the front end....it starts around 50km and seems to get better around 110km..
It's really put a bad taste in my mouth and I'm really going to have to think hard about purchasing another Ford!!!!!
