This is a GREAT thread!!!...I love seeing all these pics...here's some of my 2007 memories to share with you all...
This was my PB Brookie caught in April
My son came up to visit me on Father's Day and we spent the afternoon huntin' a couple of Muskies
Here's a few pics of our annual trip up North to a buddies camp! 10 days of being in heaven
My buddies camp and me pulling the bush "buggy" to get into some remote trout lakes
We took off on the bikes from the camp to go huntin' for some Brookies...here's a shot of my buddy wanting to be first on the trail
Crossing the river on the bikes
The first "pit stop" of many on the way back to the camp
A few fatties that day
A nice bow caught on my buddies lake
The color of meat on these rainbows were something else!!
A "mountain" trout caught on my buddies lake and a GOOD sunburn on my legs
Nice shot of the lake
A few more muskie pics
My PB Muskie caught Thanksgiving weekend
We took advantage of Indian Summer Oct 22nd and biked into a small remote rainbow lake for a couple of days..
My PB walleye caught Nov 28th on Quinte
Another Quinte eye caught that morning..
I sure HOPE 2008 is just as good!!!!!...bring on the soft water

Thanks guys....I'll check it out....the 2 places I found are about 1hr past Mont Laurier. We'll most likely pick one of these and spend 1 day snowmobiling to Devil Mountain (Montagne du Diable)!!...the first one has big pike and walleye...trout is closed...

The second one has walleye and brookies...

I just found a place 3 hrs north from here....chalet style cabins, ice huts, HOT TUB
and the lake has Brookies and Walleye...
My son, son-in-law and I have planned our 2nd annual ice fishing weekend for Jan 25 - 27th...I called the lodge yesterday and was advised that the lake is still open and they haven't put any ice huts out yet...they also said that they were not very optimistic with the ice conditions for the weekend that we booked if they go by the extended weather forecast
We can't change the dates now because my son-in-law already bought his ticket to fly up here from Atlanta...
Does anyone have any recommendations??
We are looking for a 2 bedroom cottage with a heated ice shack and originally were targeting Lakers, Whitefish and Walleye....We would really like to stay within a 3hr drive from Ottawa if possible....
Thanks,
Steve

One of the local lads out here decided to get his truck washed on New Year's eve...he was extremely lucky that he was only in 4' of water....the backhoe went in too
They finally got both vehicles out at 8:00PM New Years day.....
...here's some pics
The backhoe wasn't heavy enough to get the truck out, so they brought the BIG GUN in
The weather is gonna warm up for the next few days....PLAY SAFE!!

Welcome!
Nice Muskie, I gotta ask, Did you catch it from a pontoon boat?
I did catch it from a pontoon yes....I was lying down on my stomach on the floor of the boat while removing the hooks from that girl while she was still in the water....what a lift that was

They'll definately give you back the difference!!...I've done it many times in the past!!

Hi Folks,
I joined OFC back in October, but haven't joined in on any topics or discussion...so just to start the New Year right, I'm sayin' hello and will do a short introduction...
I live on the Ottawa River just North West of Ottawa...I target almost all species of fish, but my main species are Muskie and Trout...I caught 2 PB's in 2007 that I would like to share with you all..the first pic is a 54"x24" Muskie I caught last fall..the 2nd is a trophy Brookie caught last April
Thanks to Greencoachdog for helping me with resizing the pics!!!
FISH-ON!!

We have a 57" rear projection Toshiba that we bought in 2002....we just had to replace some board due to an irritating zig-zag on the screen but it only cost us ~ $300 (that includes the part, labour and travel time to come out to the rural area we live in)...I figure that's not too bad given that this TV is 6 yrs old![:clapping:](https://ontariofishingcommunity.com/uploads/emoticons/default_clapping.gif)
