  1. just got back from LeBaron they said they will have new and old stock. If you get a chnace give them a call and see if they will be taking items you want to the show never hurts to try.
  2. The new 300DSV is more a barra size reel, taking 240 metres of six kilo mono and plenty of braid, plus it’s possible to crank on more than seven kilos of drag for some real serious stopping power. That 6.2:1 gear ratio is pretty useful too. All Curado reels have an aluminium frame and Magnumlite spool, High Efficiency Gearing, Super Free bearing-supported pinion system, a click-adjust Dartanium drag, Turn-key spool access to the Reduced Mass VBS (Variable Brake System) Hub, four shielded A-RB bearings and one roller bearing (five A-RB in the 300DSV), Quickfire II, and a reinforced drilled handle shank with Septon Power Handles.
  3. Good question and one with lots of answers im sure i like both which do i prefer well i voted aluminum they take more abuse, easy to clean tend to be lighter making trailering easier, are easy to modify ie add livewells, storage spaces But fiberglass boats tend to ride smoother and can take bigger water well. Its a close race between the two and depending on where and how you intent to use the boat would be a big deciding factor. Both are stucturally good but fiberglass needs more attention in cleaning, waxing etc aluminum boats are being built now to look like fiberglass boats but tend to be lighter and need less horse power to push them both are good boats and each has its strenghts and equally weakness.
  4. Well i've fished in Rice lake most of my life with my dad and we know a few guys that catch them and eat them. But never have a seem someone just just kill them for fun. Like other memebers have said fish belong in water not land unless you plan on eating it.
