  1. Nice Mike, that area is always a good bet for steelies. Wish i could ov been there as well. We were freezing our buts off fishing ontario east after the rain and gettin nothing.
  2. Sure just give me a time so i can get out of my "shackles" as fidel would say. She can't say no to a 3-some
  3. I know the comment is tongue and cheek. I fish frog water all the time as most of my fishing is done with fidel. The only different brand i fish is the credit, i have no time to hit the others. I have a hard time reading rivers like the lower humber that have been dug out for boaters. Im just trying to get a few pointers from the resident guru before you charging for consults.
  4. The rube comment is from the other day when i recommended siglon f for floatfishing. AAAAnnnnnnnyyyyways the mouth of the humber is deep and wide, no seams just constant wave action, probably better bottom bouncing. It narrows past the lakeshore to more like your style, but it is slow and the bottom is muddy and about 5-7'. Again no seam, structure or pocket water. thats my dilemma. I usually tend to go elswhere or up river, but your post is inspiring.
  5. I have a question from the rube section of your following here..........When fishing the bigger waters like the ones in your pictures how far are you casting into the rivers to find these steelies. I fish the humber as i live it beside it and the mouth is wide like your "magic rivers". ******nice fish porn
  6. Siglon f is a great line specially designed for centerpin fishing. Just spool it with a heavier mono first for backing and use an arbour knot to join them. you can find some at www.centerpinangling.com good fishing
  7. Mike i had a joygasm looking at those pictures (to be specific, the pictures of the fish)
  8. Congratulations, i plunged in those waters in august, and im proud to say im having the time of my life. Here's wishing that you have the time of yours. Andy

  19. Kemper, shades of solo there...........nice fishin spawn
  20. Solo I'll have to agree with the other board members, you make this way to easy and we all become jealous. It leaves me to wonder if your job sits on the edge of some fabulous river where you can cast out the window and work at the same time.?? Man some guys have all the luck
  21. Nice browns kemper!! Ive been waiting for some to come up the humber but no such luck. Did you get those in the east or west???
  22. Man solo you seem to find these magical rivers with great steelhead runs. Not even a map book could help out the less fortunate fisherman to attain such success. Great outing and pics. spawn
  23. Hi there Im from timmins and i ran a fish creel with the mnr on that lake. There is pike, walleye, whitefish, perch, mooneye and suckers in it. Basically you go there to fish walleye. Fish the dam, but beware of the sanctuary in that area. Jigs and worm harnesses work well. Get a map off the internet and any bays, points and tribs all hold fish. Also bring alot of bug repellant. tight lines spawn
  24. Hi all: Went fishing in the big lake on friday afternoon considering the warm temps and bright sun. We all know this weather won't last for to long it is spring after all. This is the result. Went 1 for 2. The second brown followed my cleo right in to shore and when i stopped my retrieve she hit. I set the hook to soon and pulled it right out of her mouth. Well atleast both fish ended up back in the lake. Man these fish are pretty. For whatever reason i cannot add the picture. Sorry all no fish porn today
