  1. X4, I ordered from them this year to pick up an attachment for my trolling motor to cut the weeds(ninja grass cutter). I found the product in the US, of course but these guys were the Canadian dealers that how I found the site. No issues. I used credit rather than pay pal. They send it out in mail and it was lot cheaper than paying US exchange rates.
  2. The worst winds for Colpoys bay are North winds (NW, NE). The wind blowing into the bay from the main lake makes it bumpy in a hurry. Windfinder has Wiarton/Bruce Pennisula wind forecast . Good Luck
  3. Hey Gino, Here is a good website for the long point area for ice fishing. There is a couple operators out of St. Williams and one out of Old cut. Hope it helps. http://www.longpoint.on.ca/forum/
  4. I would highly recommend Captian Randy Dumars of Randy's Saltwater Specialties. Randy took my son and I out for bass out of a fresh water lake out near Kissimee (orlando area) back in 2009 and got us in to some really good bass 8-10 if memory serves with 2, 7 lbers. He was a great guy and great with my 13 year old boy, he even let him drive the bass boat on the way back to dock and let my son watch and catch a 2 lb bass on live bait at the dock that had come looking when the boat stirred up the bottom when he put the boat on the trailer. Randy also speciallizes in shore salt water fishing and he can tell you what it is best to go for in April. If you check out the website below $400 bucks will get you a 6hr day which is pretty reasonable for a 1-2 person guide. I would go back out with captain Randy again as he goes above and beyond for his clients and he know this area real well. http://www.fl-fish-guides.com/guide-rates-orlando.htm
  5. Should likely be able to use the one of those trouble lights with the alligotor clips on the vexilar battery to see if it has any life. I am thinking yours is pooched. When I bought mine the shop must have used it as a demo and the battery was dead because they didn't keep it charged up. I brought it back and they gave me a new battery. I always bring it in after a day on ice let it warm up overnight then charge it back to full the next day. Even in the summer I will charge it a couple of times to keep it charged. It's 5years old and I ice fish for 7hrs yesterday and it only went down to 75% charge. Sorry hope it isn't, but remember is you get a new one to keep it charged after every use.
