I've caught one. It hit my top water rap. I reeled it in without a fight i guess it was in so much pain it just didn't wana fly away. I took the hooks out of its mouth and it flew away. No way I'm cutting my line and letting a 13 dollar lure go to waste. Besides if i had cut the line it probally would of died because there was two trebles in its mouth.

Thanks for the tips guys. I went tried at Maitland,York,and a trib today and didn't have much luck. Caught one ugly one last night under the skyway but it was small.

I went catfish hunting last night and we got a bunch of small ones on worms. We used beef liver as well but didn't get nothing on it. Just wondering if beef liver and chicken liver works the same? Were looking to find some bigger cats but the worms are the only thing producing fish right now and the liver doesn't seem to be working. Anyone want to share some good baits for big catfish.

Your allowed to fish for sucker all year. If it was a trout that's a diffrent story. Also check the regs to see it's not a sanctuary or if that part of the creek is closed this time of year.

No luck, a few hits but no fish. I took a couple pics but they came out crappy and then the battery died. It was really cold aswell, maybe i'll dress better next time.

I don't have school tommrow until 12 so Me and my bro n law are going catfish hunting tonight near the skyway. I'll post some pics and let ya know how we did.

I used berkley vanish as well, the only problem was that it is really thin and it tangles alot. Not that great for casting ethier. I bought my self a 25 yard spool of seaguar and it is great. But if you are looking to spool your whole rod you can buy 300 yards of seaguar fluro fishing line for 21.99

Sweet report. Atleast you got a look at it and knew what it was. That happened to me at a small creek a couple years back but didn't stop peeling drag and i lost it, never seen what it was.

Leafs have had alot of injuries this year, surprised to seem them still near a playoff spot. If we can atleast egt 2 pts out of the sabres tonight/ tommrow night then it should be a good fight till then end.

I'm surprised a flip n jig isn't up there. I use them alot in the summer and they work very well. Black and blue sparkles seems to be the best coulor combo for me.

Yes, you need to fill the cup up with water then put the dirt in. Then you rinse off the frog in the cup and then zoom in on him at the flower picture.

Racoon for a pet? wow.. There was a bunch of racoons by our car as we were leaving and weren't scared of us at all. I seen the man by the house but i never new he acutally lives thier. And yep lets hope some warm weather next week should bring in some fish and clear up the tribs. Might hit a trib tommrow after work if i got time, I'll post up if I catch anything (don't count on it)

seems to me half the guys on here are saying they like you CC because you show pics of fish you get and it keeps them going back. This is just not what locals like, and to honest with you there is not a tonn of water to be fishing this time of year, and even less when there is 10 000 guys out. Keep the reports low this time of year, do something big 3 weeks from now when the fish are up spawning.

If you can go out and enjoy steelheading then i think anyone else can go out and enjoy it. Don't think your always going to have the whole river to yourself.

That was a exciting a report, too bad about the fish. I know how that feels like i landed a salmon it was on shore and just started rolling around on shore broke the fluro and plopped back into the water. Maybe you'll get em next time. Wtg thanks for the report
