read all the fine print on warranty information, on outboards you have to submit a transfer of the warranty when sold and only have 60 to 90 days to do so, sucks yes, but one has to read the fine print, all warrantys must be transfered to be validated.

Good point. I'd run a day's pay through the engine, fix my hair and have a smile for a month.
Hair????LOL

go full size, more room, they work less harder and just keep your foot out of them, my 03 sierra Z-71 gets roughly 650km per tank, city /highway mixed, but no shortage of space or power when i need it, i pull a 21ft bassboat no problem and the 4x4 is bliss when you need it, maintance has been low, most full size trucks have good towing power, it just boils down to preference, with mine it rode better than anything on the market at the time.

Nice hual! i think i saw you guyz out there just off waverly shoal, we had a bass tourny out the that day, tough day for bass with the east wind!

In Canada there is no requirement to abide by the Max HP rating on the boat.
There is also no requirement in Canada to have insurance on a boat, although it's like playing russian roulette with 3 bullets in the gun.
Really, what the heck are they used for then lol! we had a guy from our club that had to have the tag changed by the manufactur before he could use his boat or get any insurance on it, maybe it was the insurance factor, i see skinnys point about the weight, but man the torque thats going to inflict on that transome is going to be the insane, skinny god luck and let us know how you make out! Man i hope that boats not a tracker.......!lol

The problem is the maxium h.p rating on the tag on the boat, if the police, mnr pull you over and see a 80 h.p on a 16 ft tiller guarantee they will check, as well as if you have a accident, and no insurance, if the boat is registered and 16 footer i,m sure by law it has to have at least liability insurance.
