  1. What seems to get really lost in all of this is that It's not the fault of B.P.S And no i do work for them, It is Tracker marine, do you have the paper work on the boat and warranties info, if so you neglected to read them putting yourself at fault not tracker marine, all means i am not supporting tracker marine, i bought my pro-guide in 05 Unseen ,salesman told me it was a showroom model o4 mint, o.k saved $3500, Went there signed papers, they took me out to give me my boat and man it was trashed 65% of the decal scratched or rubbed off paint patches missing on the bottom of the hull and several guages as well,( boat apparently had been used at the ontario place boat show unknown to me) needless to say i was unpleased and did not want the boat , service manager came out said if i took the boat they would fix everything, paint decals and anything else i found, and i had him put it in writing. Took the boat back at end o 05 season they painted the boat (very nice job) And redecaled it (terrible job) in the end i had the manager of tracker drive to my house and deliver personally a full decal kit and was allowed to have them put on by a company of my choice payed for by tracker marine.Needless to say this took from dec 05 to may 06 to get done, lots of headaches but they did honor what they said they would do. inthe end the repairs costed them $4000, what did they really save , nothing. Bottom line you will find everyone has something bad to say about one boat company or other, i suggest if you have the warranty transfer paper or card , back date it, send it out, wait till you receive comfirmation and then go after the warranty work. The guy they have to repair these boats is in barry, personally i could not take anything to this guy, i am guessing you spoke with John Milller at tracker marine?

He stands behind his word, i can personally say that, but threats will get you nowares with this guy, trust me it only prolonged my repairs,I know these things can be frustrating, but they do have procedures like everyone else, if you don't have the warrannty form i have mine in my hand as we speak p.m and i'll send it to you.Look at it this way if ya send it out and it comes back sometime early in the new year, they still have lots of time to get you fixed up before fishing season, Again i,m not praising tracker marine just expressing my experience with them, but you can bet for sure my next boat will not be a tracker,

  2. Try the mudhole site that spiel suggested in the thread i started, ya can get st. croix kits for $65 U.s, good deal if ya ask me cabelas wants $115 plus for the same thing, im going to give it a go i blew out my knee and i'll go stere crazy if i don,t have something to do, plus i've seen where ya can personalize them nice as well.

  3. Thanks for helping guyz. Spiel i will for sure, never done this before, did some reading on it and it looks like it takes alot of patience, which luckly i have, i really look forward to doing this, i think i'll start with a st.crooix kit i seen on the cabela's site, until then ..

    tightlines!!!!

Scratch the cabela's idea that mud hole site is amazing thanks spiel!!!

  4. Was wondering if anyone knew where to purchase rod building kits, blew my knee out at work on friday and it looks like i'm going to have some time on my hands, thought i'd give this a try. Thank god the fishing season is done for me, and ii should be recovered from surgery by spring i hope so anyway's. Any info on purchasing or how too's would be greatly appreciated.

    Tightlines!!

  5. I had a similiar problem in the spring with my 04 merc, took it in for a impellar only to find out it was a blockage, changed the impellar anyway's.It does'nt take much to cause a blockage try blowing thru the tube to see if it's restricted, being a older motor it may need to be idled up to pick up the water(impellar shrinkage due to age)

  6. I had the same problem with my tracker 04 though, purchased the boat as a show room model, went to pick it up and they had used it as a demo at a boat show, more like demoltion derby, decals guaged and 1 1/2 foot patches of paint missing on the hull, dealer said he would make good for it and put it in writing, they painted the boat ,beautiful job and decaled it twice , crap job the first time, they did come thru for me but not before alot of complaining , last off the manager drove 2 hours to my house to drop off a decal kit and a cheque to have them installed at a place of my choice, my only complain now is i've had the boat 2 years and now i have carpet rot, always covered and indoor winter storeage, wrote them back but no response off course, i guess if you have to replace the carpet every 2 years my next boat will not be a tracker.

Thats to bad man i feel your pain !!!!!!! i had a brand new 2000 16ft tracker and after it was in the water for the first 6hrs,the paint on the sides of the boat was floating on the water....anyway long story short,it went back to missouri,to the factory 4 months later i got it back, and guess what it sat outside without the cover on it,the whole time,it was bleached, and faded...all they did was patch up the paint....well it needed to be acid washed, and cleaned then repainted that step was missed during the making of the boat...well I GOT IT BACK PUT IT IN THE WATER AND GUESS WHAT IT DID IT AGAIN...THEY DIDNT ETCH THE ALUMINUM....ANYWAY AFTER ALMOST SUING THEM I SOLD IT BACK TO THEM....i was so mad...it cost me alot in phone calls,paperwork.....so i will never deal with them again....so i know how you feel, let me know how you make out ..AND I HOPE NOBODY GOES TO THAT PLACE WHERE YOU TOOK YOUR BOAT,I KNOW I WONT BE.... cheers
  7. We'll also have the kids and exspect a good time, the vechiles at our site will be a 98 gold safari and a white 03 ford 4 door diesel with J.C.J contracting on the side of it, feel free to stop by and have a beer and a chat, i think our sites are between the 2 docks we'll be tenting it this weekend lol.I here there is going to be a band and a dance as well ,should be fun for sure

I am gonna be in Camping in Pickeral Park this weekend as well. I will have my kids and wife with me. I will have my White and Blue Glastron inboard bowrider with a casting deck and trolling motor on the front. The boats name is Black Pearl. Give us a honk if you see us.

I am hoping I can get the young ones to hook into some pickeral. I was figuring on just drifting and let them jig worms. What sort of speed are you guys trolling minnows and crank baits with? Any spots I should try? I will definatly try and hook into some Bass if the pickeral bite is slow. Likely the kids will want to spend the whole weekend tubing so I may not get much time in fishing. :)

  8. I'll be heading to hay bay for the long weekend as well, we are staying at pickeral park, as far as pike and walleye never had a bad trip. We'll be in the tracker pro-guide with the big red golden retreiver in it . If you in the area stop by for some stump juice.

  9. i agree with eye tracker on it being a 04 , but regardless if it was purchased as a new boat all warranty's apply, and tracker does state a lifetime on the hull. not knocking tracker as i own one myself and dealt with problems as well, they will come though for you as it is a long process, they did for me, repainted my boat decaled it twice, because it was not done right the first time, any how if it was bass pro , John Miller will come thru for you,and rudness will get you no where's with this guy, just get it all in writing, another go to guy for tracker canada is David Dusome, he is the head guy for tracker canada, getting a new boat is far a few between unless there was a serious manufactures defect,( a SAfety issue)The key is to be patient, as far as electronics speak to lawrence from lowrance canada in missasuga, this is a great company. Hope all goes well for you.
