My Dad worked with Mr. Pearson back in the sixties. It was the department of Lands and Forest back then. He was researching fish in Lake Baptiste. Great stories.

Few teams in this nhl could do well without their top goalie.

They can take solace in knowing that they are playing a very mediocre hockey team and that, despite the hype, the goalie hasn't won squat and is in the 3rd round for the 2nd time ever.

That is one of the products I was looking at. The next boat will be bigger so I figure I'd better get a handle on things now.

The HNIC crew mentioned that the habs had the most goalie interference penalties this season with 13. Gallieger had as many alone (8), has the team with the second most.

"Junk" was a catch-all for seasonal stuff. I need to make better use of the limited space.

Looking for what has worked and what hasn't. Realize that we all have different needs and space but before buying something that doesn't work I figured I'd see what yous guys had found helpful. Usual stuff tools, bikes and assorted junk.

First fish was an OOS bass that Ryan caught on a 5 ft ultralight rod. He did real well fighting it. Spot the city kids in the country. Ready to go to work tomorrow and have a rest.

Separate. The pike was very good but grilled salmon is still the best thing I've had with risotto.

Nothing identifiable in the one. Six inch perch was all that was in the other.

Buddy's new boat. Might be slimed tomorrow.

The Hunters were to our left. This guy was to our right. Good game, but it's tough when there isn't a true home team to get a lot of atmosphere in the building.

If I was in Montreal the last thing I would do is watch the habs.

Entertainment, skill and talent. Chicago is the only team left worth watching. Hard to believe as a Noris division refugee I'd ever have anything nice to say about Chicago.

My brother and I had the day to fish, so fishing we went. Hit the water in hopes of some pike and eyes. The small pike were easily found but the walleyes were not. Kept 2 pike to have with tonight's asparagus risotto. Missed a few nice hits trolling (tried to tell ourselves that they were bass). Also had a few largies in the bays with the pike and a few smallies trolling for eyes in the deeper water. Family road trip to the Memorial Cup tomorrow.

Fishing local with my brother Friday, then Tillsonburg for the weekend. Memorial Cup game Saturday and maybe a trip to pick -up my friend's new boat. Maybe a test run.
