Well I was planning a trip to Opeechee lake lodge this june but It didnt work out so now I have a cottage rented on Buckshot lake in eastern Ontario. Anyone have any experiences fishn this lake?

That 9 and a halfer is still swimmin too. Betcha He's ten and a half by now.

Ive fished the area for a long time and the fishing can be from okay to outstanding depending on where you fish. Ive had pretty good luck on Red Cedar for smallies and wallys but my fave lake in the area is Wicksteed. The whole lake is surrounded by crown land and theres only one boat launch and it can be tricky at times. The wally,bass and pike fishing on Wicksteed is just awesome. 2 summers ago I got a 9.5lb wally.

I caught a pike off a dock in Temagami,cant remember exactly where it was but I'm pretty sure the dock was made outta wood. If ya see it make a cast and hold on!!!!

I was just looking at the fishing regs because I wanna do some wally fishing on the Grand river below Dunnville this weekend and I got a little confused. Is that section of the river in division 2 or division 3?

Nice work Basskicker. Ya never know what colours are gonna work best. Make a whole bunch a different colours and start castin.

1/4 to 1/2 ounce jigs in chartreuse or orange tipped with a minnow work pretty good on Nippissing. Just gotta find some decent structure(shoals or rock piles) and start jiggin. Good luck.

I thought they swam? Just kiddin. We have a cottage on lake Huron and the smelt run was at about this time but I haven't seen any in the last 6 springs.
