Needs 12 volts. Look for 12 volt 7a batteries, they will last for days. About $25 each. You can get them from bass pro or electronic stores... to recharge them, get a cheap $10 charger from Canadian tire.

Funny...I have a similar problem with my lund (2008 rebel ss 1625) since I got it. My fuel gauge is always pointing at full until the tank is near empty, then the gauge bounces up and down. I thought that is just how it works...lol. Here's my fix: if the fuel gauge is moving, then that means it's time to fill up. Thank you for making me realize that there might actually be something wrong with my boat.

I aready got the boat, paid the money, and then got another bill for $1000... I put a complaint to the bbb, but they closed the case as "disputed" after the marina ignored replying to them. I was planning to ignore the invoice, but then they sent me another bill this month, with 2% interest (an extra $200) and they said they'll keep charging 2% every month. I spoke to the manager of the marina, this whole billing me and charging me interest is his idea, and he says he plans to take me to small claims court to get the money. I'm thinking I need to take him to small claims first, before this whole interest thing blows up...

The boat's already been picked up and paid for. I got the bill for $1000 3 months later. When I negotiated for the boat, the top was included in the price, that's why the cost of the top wasn't in the total optional equipment price. I'll contact lund and see what they suggest. I bought a boat. A 2008 lund 1625 rebel sport. I negotiated for $16000 with a 75hp optimax and complete top. And then I added a $300 onboard charger. So the contract looks a bit like this: boat+motor+trailer: $16000 Optional equipment: complete top: $1000 charger: $300 Total optional equipement price: $300 Now the marina is billing me $1000 for the complete top, because the $1000 wasn't listed in the price of the total optional equipement. Basically they're double billing me. Any advice? Since the complete top is on the contract, do you people think the courts would side in my favour? Or would it side on the favour of the marina, because the total optional equipment price only says $300 for the charger?

I made a few calls earlier this year for a wet slip in the kawartha lakes (pigeon, chemong, buckhorn area). Prices I got was between $500 to $1200 for the season. Average price was $900. Called about a month ago, and a lot of places were full. Hope that helps.

I use a small led flashlight. It's called a tac torch, and it has a red LED. I've been told that red light isn't as blinding as white, and it let's you recover your night vision faster...never really timed it out myself, but red was easier on the eyes...

I find panfishing with microtubes is a lot easier than using live bait... With live bait, you waste time baiting the hook, but with a microtube, it stays on forever and you keep catching fish.

Here's an idea of what it looked like when I took it apart: Removed the nut, removed the washer, removed the prop, removed the pin, removed some circular rubber piece that was hanging loose on the shaft, removed a loose circular cardboard piece that was under the loose rubber piece. I put it back together in the reverse order. The loose rubber piece and the loose cardboard piece looked like they wasn't suppose to be loose...but I don't really know what it's suppose to look like... The current system is a joke...whenever I speak about it, I call it a tax grab. I wonder if they're going to screw all those who already got the card...invalidate all the old cards, and make everyone pay and do the test again. I think I deserve a discount if I gotta take another test. Why do I have to suffer because the government couldn't get it right in the first place? (that test caused me a lot of stress...so many choices...arg!) Unfortunately, I think they'll treat it like the drivers licenses...where only new drivers have to take g1 and g2 tests...So all the people who cheated on their boaters exam will get away with it (until they die or kill someone in a boat accident).

Pin is in on the shaft properly and the prop is seated on it right (I seated it on while looking through that 1/2 inch gap). However, the shaft is not sliding in and out easily. It's kind of stuck...that's why the prop is sticking out a 1/2 inch (hammering it down didn't work)...and when I go into reverse, it flies out further (that's when it locks up).

Having problems with my minn kota maxxum 55 pound thrust transom mount motor. Fishing line got tangled in the prop causing the prop to stop spinning. I’ve removed the prop, and fishing line, but there’s still problems with the motor. 1. The prop is sticking out by about ½ inch (there a ½ inch gap between the prop and the motor, so the prop shaft is exposed). Weeds tend to get stuck in there. 2. The motor makes a loud buzzing noise in forward and reverse when I run it out of water. (also noisy when running in the water) 3. When in reverse in the water, the force from the water causes the prop to push out another ½ inch. When that happens, the prop stops spinning and I have to push it back in manually to get it working. Basically, the motor only works in forward (until weeds get wrapped around the exposed shaft). Motor is out of warranty. Any advice? Estimated cost of repair?

I accidentally left some worms in my car and cooked them...the smell was bad...air fresheners only made the car smell like dead worms with fruit...it was overwhelming... Febreeze worked for few hours...but I ended up using the whole bottle in a few days... The only permanent thing I could do to get rid of the smell was to purchase the heavenfresh air ionizer device from canadian tire. Spent $25 on it, but it worked.

I've been told by my friends that they make excellent fishballs. You just grind it up and turn it into a meatball...then you cook it in soup and noodles (vietnamese noodles or chinese wonton style). I was hoping to try it out once, but I saw some kind of leech or parasite hanging out under the gill plate...and then I didn't feel like trying it anymore.

I've been using it every weekend since april. I check it everytime I go out. I'm thinking weeds got sucked up there from last week...either that, or something is wrong. 3 years old and the only maintenance done on it has been oil changes and a new sparkplug. I guess it's due for a professional checkup...
