Have you checked for continuity through the switch? Check for power at the pump itself when the switch is on. Could be the switch a wire or the pump itself. How old is the bilge?

Hi all, I have a Humminbird 728 GPS capable fish finder. It works with their outboard gps unit, as well as any NMEA 0813 compatible gps. Has any tried to use an NMEA compatible cell phone for gps with their fish finder. While its not necessary, as I have the GPS on the phone and could use it along side my finder. Im wondering if anyone has tried this type of setup before. The down side to this is it would require 3 cables to connect the phone to the finder, only to see if it would work. Any thoughts?

There have been a couple of these threads I have read here before. Some of the members here are coming across with discriminating comments. Has anyone ever given any though to the fact that this is a public forum, and their may be Natives that use it? Just because people are native doesnt mean they only use nets to catch fish. Have some respect. There are bigger issues than just netting. I find it odd that no one ever mentions tourism and immigration in the discussions.

Well me and my son made it out this morn. Within a half hour he had a fairly decent sized muskie to the boat before the line broke. Not long after he pulled in a nice pickeral, followed by a small bass that popped off at the boat. I only had a couple bites. It was choppy and cool with some strong winds but its always nice to get out on the first day.

Anyone gonna be on the water tonight?

Assuming ice is still on the lake, are you of the opinion it will be gone by next weekend? Really cutting it close to the anual fishing trip.
