I've always wanted to go salmon fishing on Lake Ontario but have never had a chance. I recently finished law school and it's quite frankly too expensive for me to charter a boat with all my debts. My girlfriend tried to charter a boat last year as a valentines day gift but the operator had to cancel last minute since his boat broke down for the season. So, I was wondering if anyone here is planning on going salmon fishing in the near future and would have a seat open for me. I'm easy to get along with an would be happy to pitch in for supplies (i.e. perhaps for gas or lunch). Best, bahram

I recently sent Christopher a copy of this statutory provision since we've been getting harassed by an old lady when we fish. Now i just saw this interesting youtube clip made this week about the same provision. Just wondering what has been your experiences when dealing with people who harass you for fishing. FYI, this is the relevant sections of the Act: Obstruction of hunting, trapping or fishing 13. (1) A person shall not interfere with lawful hunting, trapping or fishing by, (a) tampering with traps, nets, bait, firearms or any other thing used for hunting, trapping or fishing; (b ) placing himself or herself in a position, for the purpose of interfering, that hinders or prevents hunting, trapping or fishing; or (c ) engaging in an activity, for the purpose of interfering, that disturbs or is likely to disturb wildlife or fish. 97. (1) A person who contravenes any provision of this Act or the regulations is guilty of an offence. Penalty 102. (1) A person convicted of an offence under this Act is liable to a fine of not more than $25,000, to imprisonment for a term of not more than one year, or to both.

veradero is pretty bad for fishing. You should try the main bridge at the beginning of the peninsula. Coyo Coco is much better for fishing

do they make the fish inedible ?

I just wanted to post an update and once again thank Angler Management and Danbob for giving me their old rod and reel. I now have a nice Abu Garcia Blackmax and BPS extreme casting rod for this year. I think it is a great first time baitcaster combo. Thanks again guys, much appreciated

do i still need to put the tape on the reel if i use some mono backing ?

it seems like Basspro's Power pro box comes in 100 yards rather than 150 yards. Do you guys think 100 yards is enough for a baitcaster? thanks

thanks for the info. How often do the Extremes go on sale? What i'm looking for is an intro baitcaster that I can use for my crank baits and some of my heavier lures. I liked those rapalas because they are on sale and the rod ratings were for 3/8 -1 oz.
