Yes I have a flasher, eskimo hut, heater...etc I've been using jigging spoons, white swimbaits, jigging rapalas, minnows..etc, but dont get into anything. I've had a few follows on the flasher but nothing has taken yet. This is also my first time fishing for lakers/whitefish and also my first time fishing on simcoe. I also dont have a snowmobile so ive had to walk out

So I've bought about $1000 worth of ice fishing gear this year with the hopes of hooking into some whitefish or lakers forthe first time. I've now been out with my dad and buddy 3 times and havent even had a single fish on. I've also only seen one guy catch a fish during the 3 trips. What gives???? Has anyone here been landing them fish or is it just a bad time of the year?

I'm heading up to simcoe on saturday morning and I usually get my minnows from Angling Specialities but they open at 9AM. Do you guys know of any good shops that open early, around 6:30-7:00 I can pick up minnows from on the way up the 400?

just wondering what size minnows I should be using for whitefish and lake trout while ice fishing at simcoe. I went for the first time this week but I thought my minnows might have been too big for whitefish... some where about 4-5 inch shinners

Anyone have a recommendation for an operator that provides 2 holes per person? I called the recommended operator in general (it think it was something like Big Bear Huts) and the guy said that their 4 man hut only has one whole in each corner or one large hole in the centre of the hut. Im looking for a 4 man hut that will also each person to set 2 lines. Red

The fact that you are comparing homosexuality to bestiality and pedophilia is absolutely ridiculous. There is a reason why everyone in society agrees the latter two are despicable acts.... because children and animals cannot consent to sex. On the other hand, what two consenting gay adults want to do does not affect anyone. I couldnt care less what 2 gay dudes want to do in the privacy of their own home. The fact that you also bring up the recent prostitution case also shows me you have not read the decision and are just typing based on your own morality and not facts. There is a reason why all three levels of court and 9-0 unanimous decision by the supreme court said that current prostitution laws are unconstitutional... because as much as it may shock you, prostitutes are humans too and have the right to protect themselves and not be murdered. The court's decision was really a no-brainer and was based on the law and not on religious morality.... the way it should be with our impartial judiciary

By the way, the issue isn't that Phil said he doesn't support gay marriage. If he simply said he believes marriage is between a man and a woman then nobody would really care or be surprised. The problem seems to be with how he expressed himself. you guys do realize the constitution and the right to free speech have nothing to do with this case. Free speech is to protect the public from government interference with free speech. It's not meant to protect against the right of a private company (A&E) to fire anyone it wants for comments which may or may not have been offensive.

Phil Robertson has been given the boot from the show for making anti gay remarks. I predict the show will be canceled by next year
