Anywhere from the little cove with that short jetty wall thing all the way to the little parking lot on the west side is Ontario Place property and they will kick you out of there. Mid winter you can usually get away with a few trips in there with out getting booted but as soon as the hoards start to show they go on bootin' detail. Nothing a float tube or a kayak can't fix.

Wouldn't you need a harbour masters license? By the way nice fish!

I was giving a vise some consideration and found this site in my travels…pretty good read I think.

Thanks ww I think I might check out the Danica DanVise.

It depends, I think that it will have to get colder remember that there are still scattered warm spots ( like in you mouth!).
-
Probably, if you think about it lake simcoe is filled with them and the trent connects all of those lakes.
But I'm not quite sure on the accuracy of other lakes, does lake simcoe really have brown and brook trout?

Don't look in the eyes, TOO CUTE!

I use an Apex and a Integra. Both are good vise's.
Thanks Chrisk (That's my name too) both vices look good, I'm gonna wait and see what other recommendations come in.

I'm looking for a good quality vice under $100, I'm not looking for anything super special I've been using a AA vice for a few years and I can't stand it, half the time the hook slips out when you tying and it is impossible to tighten, any suggestions?

Carp just ran into the camera!

I want to be a snake head, sure everyone's trying to kill me but i can fight back, and chase them on land!
-
Don't do it, total scam.
-
Can you fish from the parking lot outside of the gates?
-
Creek chub.
Ok, I know that they fight pretty good, I caught my pb yesterday, about 13".
-
Suspending Jerkbaits all the way. I would think the water is.warmer then that right now. All the places I have fished are warmer then that, they are also alot bigger.
I did post this at the beginning of the month...

Nice fish, my trip down to mexico is coming up and I can't wait! Good on you for C&R.

was out again today and was into a ton of suckers, well over 20 hook ups in 2 hours. again all fish were on worms.
Are they well up the rivers now, because I've been fishing pretty far up and haven't seen any?
-
Don't cheap out, it'll break like a twig! I'd go for an 8 wt buy backing rated for pike or bass, a good entry level is a temple fork combo they're about $130 you can grab it at bass pro.
-
I just got my first pair of simms, so far they have been great, if you live in southern ontario go to wilsons fly shop they have great selection and staff!
-
OK - here's a little challenge. Who can spot a little bit of Ontario in one of my photos?
I'm stepping on to a train to vermont, by the way the answer is none of them, ontario don't grow bass that big!
-
Nice, I haven't gotten a brown yet this year so your ahead of me!
-
I was out for suckers again at a couple of rivers and creeks today, I caught 8 dace and nothing else, was using worms and was probably up about 2km from mouth.

Are you sure about that because I remember hearing one guy say that he was fined for trying to put in a canoe?
