So sorry, I have a few cats of my own and they are outside, I used to have 2 more but they were hit by cars, I just wish people were more careful.
-
up to the holland again today, crappie rising everywhere but nothing biting, a few sunfish.
-
was that the holland too?
-
I got a spring brook trout trip lined up for may, if it's not out by then we're in trouble!

Welcome to the forum! I sent you a PM with some info!

Thanks for the update photoz I decided to try the holland and got a few nice perch and one small crappie, but they're in there (good luck finding a spot though lots of guys).

Went out to the holland this afternoon, LOTS of white bucket anglers, 1 tiny crappie for me maybe 4 inches, tons of sunfish, perch and a couple of accident bass. Can we start making entries for the tournament, I got a nice little perch I'd like to enter?
-
OK if you have a boat, mostly walleye and bass. If you drive a bit further north then you got much better waters (remember bass are oos)
PS I don't have much experience in that area either, I gained most of that from the web and just seeing the area a couple times

Nice!

I'm glad you found a canoe, but I don't think you should use "Niagara" and "canoe" in the same sentence!
Maybe, but it got your attention didn't it?
-
Hate when you catch oos fish, especially when it's big and you can't get a picture.
PS congrats with the tickets!

The old Welland Canal is a good place to start, anywhere from Dain City to just before the Highway 406 bridge... Just beware that canoeing past the Highway 406 bridge is not allowed right now due to the widening of the 406, they are building another bridge beside the current one. Also if you wish there are a few spots from downtown Welland where you can launch a canoe into the Welland River to get some fishing in.
If you would like any info/help shoot me a PM.

Nice vid. a nice technique I've seen is when the angler straps the go pro to their chest or to the butt of the rod, nice fish too!

A decent pike!? That looked like 50"!

What information can you guy give me about the welland area for this weekend, targeting panfish and pike.

I checked bronte last week, nothin, but no rainbows either so their right around the corner, if they're here for 6 weeks maybe go for the crappie now and at the beginning of April try for the sucker. ( I just posted a thread about it got a lot of good advice, just look up White sucker in general discussion)
