Just wondering if anyone here bought a 5x dsi and has used it on the ice. I played around with it last time and couldn't get it anywhere near what I was hoping. Let me know if you tried one and how you found it.

Loved my 67 valiant, slant six, nothing ever went wrong with it EVER. Mind you it smelled like gas and ran a bit dirty on cold days, had cranky windows, no power locks, lap belts, no air bags, drum brakes, no crumple zones or side impact beams etc.... cars have come a long way, and with more moving parts comes more to break. Just suck it up and fork it out to the man.

I'll be out there next weekend, get on those fatties.

No tought at all if its under a certain size, you only need to go to the ministry and declare it a home built trailer and they will giv eyou a plate for 30 bucks or something like that.

Pretty sure Bass pro has them.

Yah I know I guess I shoulda said any lake. Reminds me of the family on that side by side rhino that went under on muskoka a few years back. Always so sad and preventable.
-
Happy new years everyone. Be safe and have a wonderful time. If you are at casino niagra to ring it in post back here we can have a beer.
-
Didn't I just say someone would go through and die on scugog. Just sad. Booze cars and thin ice is just askin for death. We were nervous on foot let alone a jeep.

Sounds good to me. Go leafs go. Go canada go!!!!

Yep room to improve on both sides its shaping up to be a solid rematch if it happens.

Solid game all around suban played solid but the defense kept the the shots on the perimeter. Suban was solid but only really had one big time save in the second. It'll be interesting to see how russia adjusts if they meet again. Not alot to complain about on either side of the ice.

Pretty happy with stuff so far and I have yet to read a bad review on the amp the mic or the ci1. Still lots and lots of room for improvement on the actual playing though, and I can certainly live with that.

Unless you have tracks you wont. haha I saw that once before just kept slipping, but at least they didn't sink.
As for that hovercraft hull, its s nice looking hull, how stuck can it possibly be, light is the key word with hovercrafts. That skirt is destroyed, needs props engines, mount, controls... umm everything.

I built a hovercraft a long time ago.

Well, no doubt someone will die on scugog as is the case what seems every year. Be safe on the sleds and on the feet folks. There is a reason why Scugog's nickname is Skidoobegone.

Here is a sample of the new setup, still learning and still hacking away. I am actually enjoying playing with all the settings, a bit too much distortion or something for this song, still got allot to learn with this new rig.

The conditions were less than ideal so I am leaning towards the ice seasons skunk is out of the way.
-
Not a thing. Marked a couple cruisers and got stripped by a small ones but no solid hits. We got there pretty late.
I am debating whether or not we got our 2013 skunk out of the way or if our 2012 ended in misery.

Nice, we stuck near shore inside a bay, the ice was pretty thin away from shore. We only had 2 inches in the middle of the bay so we didn't really want to go out further.
-
If you are going out make sure you have fully waterproof footwear. The ice is still not solid so it leaks lots through the holes. We had about 3-4 inches of water and slush on top by the end of the day.
-
On the ice... no fish so far snowing like crazy glad we brought the pop up. Ended up on looncall. About 3-4 inches of black clear ice.
-
Lots of choices out there. Its pretty hard to really bang on any of them. Everyone will have different experiences with every brand and model. I have never had a problem with any cheroke, liberty or wrangler butbothera have. 4runners, pilots, pathfinders, yukons etc... will all tow a 17 foot lund.
Figure out what features you want, your budget, and go and drive them. I would rec trying out a 4 door wrangler. Super tough and versatile, and will hold its value pretty well and should be easy to sell used. Try selling a used durango or yukon when the gas is over a buck 30. Jeeps always seem to be easy to sell.

Not for looncall, the other lake we were planning on going to. Looncall is no walk at all. Last time I was there though we got skunked and chased off the lake by a huge german sheppard.

There is no sensitivity settings only contrast. You can turn on or off the surface but that's about it. Were you able to distinguish your lure?
