During the game 95 percent of the seats are full. I have some cool pictures will upload tomorrow. Voice is almost gone. What's with the horrible refs.
-
Great game so far... rangers look like they are sleeping.
-
Somethings need to be repaired or replaced.... Plugs, wires, filters and some are prone to oops repairs props, lowerunits, prop hubs etc...
-
That's a good one. I thought that was a story about a some sens fans...
-
Yep, I'll see if I can post some pics along the way... unless they start to get bombed. haha

IMO, the MnR has the single biggest impact on the fisheries in Ontario. Especially the Kawartha lakes. There research, decisions on stocking/limits/regs and enforcement are what keeps or kills a lake.

Always sad to lose a friend to the fish pond in the sky. Don't feel too bad he has all the time in the world to hunt for those trophies.

A merc will be cheaper to fix and get parts for down the road. Like say if you smack up the lower unit, chew up the prop etc... Merc parts are a dime a dozen, Yamaha(which I own and love btw) and even more so Suzuki and Honda, the parts are harder to come by.
Just do a search for used lower units and props for each motor, and call the dealer and ask how much plugs, wires, coils and a water pump kit are. Those are the most common repair items on an outboard.

I have fished a bass series for the last 3 or so years and have fished a number of one off type tournaments prior. We have won several, had big fish a few times and even come close to getting skunked. The one piece of advice I would give is if you are a patient person, focus on getting your limit consistently. When you can locate, present and boat fish in the right size you will then be set to start culling.
Typically I would hit a few big fish spots right off the bat. If blast off is 7am, We will have moved on from big fish spots before 9am. If we hit a couple good ones 3+pounds first off we will stick around and wok that pattern. If anything goes wrong at the beginning we will focus on getting our limit. Once we hit our limit we will then make a game time decision weather to go back to our big fish spots or continue on. If it looks like a tough day on the water sometimes getting 5 2 pounders is all it takes to get you in the money. Several times we have culled fish in the dyeing seconds to get us in the money. This will happen a fair bit. Don't give up. If you have your limit you have a chance until the final second. Make every second count. Keep a bait in the water at all times. I have caught 4 and 5 pounders while dead sticking and having a pee break, lunch break, retying another lure etc... I have even heard of guys hitting the big fish on a spinner bait hanging off the side of the boat.
Don't be afraid to change it up during a tournament if you have caught anything. Once tourney we won we didn't have a single fish by 11am. We made a few changes and hit water we were sure had fish and before we knew it we had 15 pounds in the boat.

Well, looks like everythign is clear for me to go to the game tomorrow night... I'll be the guy in the kadri jersey holding up a sign that says "It could be worse.. I could be a Sens Fan!!!"
-
The longterm looks like good daytime temps, but Its not gonna be shorts temps.
-
Good thing they aren't playing at the Ex anymore.
-
Typical of sens fans... from behind and all.

Thought you all might like to read this.... The year that Lake Ontario Froze!!!
-
Clearly a hit from behind. The refs have been horrible. the tripping call missed, the goalie interference, hits from behind. Brutal. The leafs haven't played great, and Kulemin had a horrible giveaway but the leafs better get it back together and beat some serious ass if they are gonna lose this one. Someone from philly must hit the ice HARD.

That looks like the Sens top line.

I like tough.

Whats a fish lift?

Balsam is a great lake to fish and has the best campground south of Algonquin imo.
-
Drifter same for me. That second strike killed it and I swore I wouldn't watch again until the jays field a contender. If they play well I'll be back otherwise, I will pass. So far they don't look too great. I predict they will lose every game this year.
-
I would drop a third and a prospect on him any day of the week.
-
That knuckle ball has some serious movement. Lots of pass balls this season I bet. I wouldn't rush out to go see them though. There will be lots of tickets in a couple days for every other game of the season.
-
If you don't have to give up anything for him, its a good move imo. He has playoff experience and will add some safety if one of the current guys goes down or goes cold. Even if he just sits in the locker room its a worthwhile move. Of course it depends on what they give up for him. He has been battling a nagging knee injury all season, has had good stats for his entire NHL career outside of this one. I am not saying he is a savior but he is a good goalie. Something happened this year in Calgary. Enough for one of the best in the league want to GTFO asap. He doesn't have much left in the tank, maybe a year or two more.

I don't think anyone wants to lose a high pick unless its for a really soilid goalie. Kipper isn't one I would give up the farm for.
Its back!!! - nf
