  1. Anyone catch the rypien video clip from last night? I grabbed a fan and shook him around. I bet Rypien is gonna get raked through the coals. Personally I think he should get a fine, and the next time the nucks play in vancouver during the first intermision the fan gets to kick rypien in the balls at center ice.

Likley he is gonna get a big suspension, but I mean really is it fair? Domi only got 1,000 dollar and no suspension for soaking fans with gatorade then pounding a guy.

  2. You have to put the electric smoker chips in a pan and a pan won't sit on the oven burner, thats why I mentioned putting the burner in the tray and let the smoke go into the oven, then use the oven element to heat the box. Then no fire's and no need to worry about all th eother bits. In fact you could just go buy a single element stove thing at crappy tire for 20 bucks and a cast iron pan at the dollar store. I did that a while back with an old rotted out barbeque and it worked fine.

  3. just watch out for all of the plastic bits and pieces and use extra duct tape.

Why not just take one of the burners and put it in the drawer, and then just stick a frying pan on it with smoker chips, then all you need to do is cut a hole in the bottom of the stove to open it up to the drawer, and bobs your uncle?

And you can use the oven thermostat to exactly control the internal temp.

  4. First overall in Points

    First overall in Wins

    Second in Goals for

    10th in goals against

One of only 4 teams to remain undefeated at home and on the road

Who can complain about the first week of the season for the Leafs. They are fore checking, getting good scoring, getting good goal tending, getting production from all lines, finishing their checks. It’s been good so far.

The only concern on the table right now is some sloppy play by the defense, but the defense will gel and hopefully this will be cleaned up.

Never mind the wins. Much to my surprise, they ARE playing the best TEAM hockey I have seen from the Leafs in a long long time. And that no one can argue with. Not even those retarded Habs, fans or those inbred Ottawa Fans

  5. You know what you could do is instead of using the wook like slat you could do the whole thing with different sized dowels. Thick ones for the posts and headboard and thinner ones for the inner headboard and slats for the base of the bed to put the mattress on. Dowels are great to work with as they are strong, cheap and all you really need is wood glue and a drill.

    Kinda like thisAnna%20Toddler%20Bed.jpg

  6. To make it thin and fairly strong your gonna need to shy away from pine. Pine will just split on you when its that small and thin. Go for poplar. Hardwoods are a bit more difficult to work with so make sure everything is pre drilled or you will be back at square one. I would say the easiest would be to buy it.

  7. One thing I have always thought that would be a good idea. Is to have an insentive program for those that want to help rebuild fishing areas. Open up privatly funded Fish restocking programs, and allow people to donate to them and give them a free fishing license. EG, you can buy a nomral fishing license from the Gov't or you can give 50 dollars to XYZ corp BoQ restocking programme and you get your license that way. This would be a good way to get people to be putting back to the area and the species they prefer to fish. I dunno though, but the current setup doesn't seem all that effective. I would think lower or 0 limits are on there way much sooner than what people think.

  8. The problem as I see it, is that native tribes used to be somewhat migratory in nature in that they would hunt/gather/fish/live in areas where the animals were. In a land as vast as Canada is, this would allow one area to be depleted, then moved out of, then that depleted area regenerates. This of course would happen over hundreds of years. Since this is no longer the case. Specific areas are being decimated.

Of course I could be totally wrong. As for Natives not taking more than what natures balance allows, thats a load of crock to anyone that choose to believe that horsewash. I have been approached many times by natives to buy pickeral by the bushel. Every one with sprear and or net marks on them.

It would be nice to believe that everything is in balance but the reality is far too much fishing is being done in certain presured areas.

Eventually what will happen is people will need ot apply for a fish tag similar to a deer tag. You want to fish? everything will be catch and release. You want to keep one you need to buy a tag for that species.

I don't know what will happen or what the answer is, and neither do any of you. Most certainly though almost every lake and stream has fewer fish in it than ever before. Even for species that are generally not kept by the every day fisherman, like Bass.

  9. If they were to play every game rough and hard checking they will have a good chance at making the play-offs. I would expect this effort to die off around December and kick back in just in time to miss the play offs.

I hope this early season success sticks for a while though.

  10. I mean its not like we would expect the leafs to go from 29th to winning the cup. Realistically I would be happy if the leafs were fighting for a play off spot at the end of 82 games. If they get in thats a HUGE leap forward. This is my 2 year expectation. Then I would like to see them be a first round contender for 2 years. Once they are good enough to conend to win a first round anything can happen. In 4 years, Kadri and Schen will hopefully be dominant players.

  11. I have had a bunch of Shotty's from semi's to Side by Sides to all flavours of pumps, Rem, Winch, SUper Nova, MOssberg. By far the best gun I have ever had is the Winchester 1300 Speed Pump. When I was out shooting clays with a guy that just bought his first gun(SuperNova), I said here give my ol' Speed Pump a wing. With 2 shots his jaw dropped at how fast and smooth it cycles. Its light, sturdy, you can get all the goodies for it you want, and fires rounds down range faster than any othe shotgun around.

Like the others I would agree with a 26" barrel With screw in chokes, in a 3 or 3 1/2 inch setup. Then you can add on a Rifled barrel and this setup will do you for everything from Moose down to Partridge.

I have a 24" rifled barrel with cantelever scope I use that for big game, and the 26" barrel for Turkey, Upland, rabbit, Duck and Goose.

a small pocket full of chokes and your good to go.

You can't really go wrong with an 870, they are solid, sturdy and reliable. Mine turned into a door stop though once I shot my Winchester though.

  12. HAHA... Thank god I am moving out of the big smoke. Toronto you can go eat yourself into a Red Light Hooker infested communist tree hugging, police state all you want. I am soo outa here.
