No worries rooz and totally agree with you about the pike in the Kawarthas. It's a shame they are spreading like they are. Will be interesting to see how things balance out in the next 10 to 20 years. Welcome to the board!

My thoughts exactly. Since this post, there have been pike caught in many of the Trent Severn waterway lakes so I've heard.

I've been running Convectors for 10 years or so without any issues. Have a mix of wire, leadcore, braid and mono on different reels. As for rods, TDR's, Okuma Great Lakes Classic and a couple of the Rapala dipsey rods. They've all been great as well. I really haven't seen the need to spend big bucks on a trolling rod but others might argue that.

I'm pretty envious of that dog as well. lol. Great videos as always, Roloff is having the time of his life out there with you. Really cool seeing the pike taking your walleye and not just once either! Instead of a flyin trip Joe, maybe we should just camp on Simon's front lawn.
