  1. That is a bit strange Andrew. My charger did the same thing this spring but it did finally indicate a full charge after a couple of days. My batteries were old (5-6 years) and I figured it was just the batteries on their way out. I just replaced them with new ones and the charger worked fine. Might be best to contact Minn Kota. http://www.minnkotamotors.com/Contact/ as manjo39 suggested to get the issue resolved quickly.

  2. Just repack the bearings, and get normal caps. The bearing buddies are just a gimmick IMO.

If the grease can't get out, there is no need to be adding any....right? And, if grease can't get out, water can't get in, correct?

So why does everyone have bearing buddies and stuff them with grease every trip??........because they don't know any better, that's why.

That's my take on bearing buddies. NO need for them whatsoever.

Better yet, don't back your trailer into the water. :tease::lol: I wonder how Billy is doing?

  3. I've had them for a couple of seasons and they've been great. They came with screws but I bolted mine down where I could and hand tightened the few screws with Loc-tite. I believe most track products will fit in them as well. I do know that Bert's do. Sucks that you can't get to the back side of them. It was stress to me that there should be some kind of backing in place for them, I used an aluminum plate. Maybe go with the longest track you can to spend the stress load. I

  4. That truck stop (Fifth Wheel) in Bowmanville, maybe your best bet for early service (open 24 hours) and convenience, assuming you are traveling the 401.

At the Thickson exit in Whitby there is the Halibut House, have a pretty good breakfast but open later than you might like (8am I think). Dine's on King Street in Oshawa opens at 7am, about 5 minutes north of the 401 at the Stevenson exit. http://dinesrestaurant.com/ . Wally's World in Oshawa is open 24 hours but a bit north of the 401 on Simcoe, south of Taunton. http://www.wallysworld.ca/index.html . There are a couple of places in Bewdley but not sure they open too early. Rhino's opens at 8am.

  5. for the summer the canadian tire/princess auto boat covers are more than adequate. they should be going on sale soon if not already

for the winter, when I kept mine outside, i build an a-frame out of 2/4s & 1/2s and cover with a tarp. tarp is usually good for 2 seasons before it needs replacement.

Walmart has an inexpensive trailerable cover as well that I've used for the past few years. For price and years of use, it's tough to beat.

  6. I've never gotten one on me or my dog ever, never seen one. Guess I've been lucky!!

I've never had to deal with them or seen one either. Looks like it maybe the norm soon. I'm guessing the banning of all of the pesticides and herbicides has helped the tick to reproduce more?? (Or maybe global warming?? Someone had to say it. :D) Thanks for the tip on the supplements M and MB2.
