Anyone tried getting walleye , any luck?

Nice pics , which river was this on?

First time fishing this year was in May..Managed what i think is a nice sized rockbass, and a decent smallie. Both from the Grand River.

Second time out managed a walleye ( a nice eater ) and a decent carp

Fast Foward to July on Georgian Bay .. a nice bass

Then a big 10 pound Bowfin my uncle caught..

Which caused this..

After a quick trip to the hospital he was back and landed another nice bass!

Thanks ! I'll try jigging off some dropoffs in hopes for some walleye .. Then try for some pike maybe. Won't be keeping anything though.. Apperently it's one of the most contaminated waters in Canada!

Hey OFC, My name is Caleb and I'm new to OFC. although I've been on here for a couple weeks iI decided it was time to introduce myself. I mainly Fish for Bass, Walleye, and Pike. And i mainly fish in the grand river near York. Anywho I've been fishing the last couple days in York and can't seem to get anything. Never had any luck in the river in summer, Only spring..I had one jumping bass today that got off.. Does anyone have any suggestions ?

a cheaper but less convienent way to do it is go to a recreation center , although it's not open book.

You could always try the grand river .. If your not getting any luck in erie. both waterbodies are full of walleye

@BillM smallmouth are hard to catch there now , not much there ever since the gobies came and took over .. And limey angler thanks helped alot too, think it should be fun !
