Sure isnt hard here. I know plenty of people with prescription marijuana.

A dr in town believes in obtaining health through nature is a better option in many cases than big pharma drugs.

Its surprisingly cheap as well.

 

I googled it, Canadian Border officers have had sidearms since 2007, not a long time from an older guy's perspective

Still can't for the life of me understand why it is illegal. Buy it in the store in Colorado but get arrested in the next state over? The lunatics are running the asylum. As far as opening Pandora's box just look at the states that have legalized it. I don't see any horror stories on the news? It's not like everyone is going to start smoking it because it is legal.I don't care if it's free all it does is give me anxiety so I won't be running to the store to buy it but I really don't care if anybody else does. A nice step towards ending the idiotic war on drugs.

Nah they have sworn a strong oath to protect countries leaders at almost any cost.

I will say i find canadian customs 10 fold easier to deal with then the US counterparts.

But i havent crossed for almost 15 years so i zero idea if its improved or gotten worse???

Our border with international falls was awesome until 9/11.

I used to cross freely on my bike to work with just a nod and a wave.

The same folks I had grown to know over the years drew guns on me after 9/11 for the exact same thing they had given me permission to do!

I was detained all day. Although i an an american citizen and its my RIGHT to pass the boarder.

They had cops escort me to the I falls courthouse to obtain my birth certificate records(i never used to carry it)

After proving my citizenship to guys that already knew I was american, they continued to detain me.

After 12 or so hours I was denied access(illegally) to enter my own country.

After filling out many forms, I was sent to canadian customs with the police waiting.

More forms, and questions. I knew these guys well and they were shocked.

But the paperwork had to be done so I did it.

I have not crossed the border since. It left me with a very bad taste in my mouth so to speak.

Not sure if it is still the case, but it used to be if you had a password on your cell or computer, they can't access without your permission, which you are free to withhold. I believe they need a warrant - or they used to. Which can cause some delays......

Don't be surprised if your Dad is flagged in the system. Happens to commercial drivers all the time - get stopped once with a concern and almost every time after until it gets cleared up you get invited in

 

Cross enough times without the Nexus or FAST card and sooner or later you'll see secondary.

And if ya tried to withhold the password get ready to call a towtruck.

Not sure about canadian customs though you may be correct???

CO's actually have more power to search than police, at least they did at one time. I've seen them work in pairs quite some time ago. When I waterfowled and lived at Long Point , the RCMP were the sticklers on the waterfowl regs.

Why not Cocaine or LSD or shrooms? Sure alcohol is legal. But its already legal. Why not Steroids? Why not Viagra or Cialis? Why should you need a prescription for Tylenol 3? I personally am not saying it should be illegal. Medically yes it has a place. So medically for marijuana yes with a prescription why not. For recreational use why not just allow everything to everyone without a prescription. Like Steroids, Viagra, Tylenol 3, Codeine, Oxy etc... A drug is a drug regardless of the use, benefits or side affects. I think it should be regulated. Taking away things that are already legal is a different story like say caffeine.

Pharmaceuticals and marijuana have many MANY differences...
