Very true and full four wheel lock when needed. Added bonus is that it wont be a basket case after a few years and worth a handful of nickles like a "Dud"ge or have 50+ some odd recalls like the good old GMs.

This IS your solution. That marina took full advantage of you. If you were to do this, print the entire thread out and hand it to the owner/manager I'd be willing to bet they would hand you half the cost back in cash. Without a single word said.

So I just had my boat winterized for the first time. I'm officially in mourning until April. I bought the boat used this spring and it's my first boat, so was is my first time through the process. I brought it to a local marina to get the work done. I have a 2011 115hp Yamaha 4 stroke as the main motor and a small 6hp 4 stroke early 2000s Nissan outboard as the kicker. Plus I have two live wells.

 

My total bill was $650!!!!!!!! Holy crap!

 

I was floored. Is this par for course or did I get hosed here?

 

As a follow up question, anyone with recommendations for good marinas in the Owen Sound/Grey Bruce area???

FYI, the AWD Honda Pilot and Ridgeline have a centre locking differential.

The thing works really well and is pretty surprising really.

I have even used my Pilot to rescue a stuck Suburban on the beach in Alaska.

My Ridgeline hasn't let me down yet.

That clip on CTV at 6 tonight shows that the public has reasonable modicum of solidarity in supporting the CF. Hats off to those who took the time to line the overpasses and highway to pay their respects. It sent a healthy shiver down my spine. I know when my parents came to Canada in '52 from war torn Europe, they adapted and embraced what was here to flourish and do well. Nowadays, it's become a real head shaker. I'm of firm belief, you come here and adapt, you don't have to throw away your previous heritage, but don't try to make it another country.

Like the classification list. In the two seasons we targeted them specifically only managed to boat up to the Cruiser Class of Ski fishing limited waters.
