  1. Thanks everyone !

Nah, trailer isn't tracking crooked that I know of. IT would not be so bad, but the problem is the rear bunk connectors are on that cross member, and they are now on an angle. I assume they are no longer able to carry the load and will continue bend and potentially cause more problems in the long run

Rare cross member is welded in. It's a ranger boat trailer combo . Piece of junk trailer imo as the rear brace has always literally been inches off the rod and I scrape everywhere ...

  2. Hello all,

I have hooked the back end of my ranger trailer somehow in a pothole, and it has bent/warped my rear cross-member.

Does anybody know of a shop that either straightens frames, or has the capacity to install a new cross member? I really don't want to buy a new trailer ....

I am located in Toronto area

Thanks for any suggestions and help

  3. I have found when you mix non gulp plastics with gulp in the sauce, everything gets ruined over time. Gulp baits become stiffer, and other baits deteriorate, change colour etc etc . Otherwise, that brine lasts a long time so long as it isn't tainted by other non gulp baits.

And, make sure your gulps are always submerged, ie the brine should pretty much be to the top of your container !!!

  4. For me, the point of fishing is to get away from people, drama & stress. I really don't see the joy of pissing off others to land a few but to each their own.

I want to know my rights. I can put my earbuds in or tune out anything when a friend is around, creating a relaxing stress free environment. But if it's true that I shouldn't be there, I want to know and I will respect it.

So, I will carry on fishing lake o marinas from a boat like I have for the past 10 years.

  5. Hey all,

Does anybody know if fishing amongst boats/marinas in Lake Ontario Toronto area is trespassing or not allowed? I understand not being able to fish from their docks. Do some own the water , or does the same rule apply to all marinas within the Toronto shoreline?

I remember taking my port authority in water test at the humber sail club, who back then mentioned you were able to fish all marina areas from a boat.

    Thanks!

From what I understand, the marina with the ramp on the east side has been purchased by a group intending to build condos. TRCA plans to "improve" the ramp on the west side, but their "improvements" don't seem to include a place to park your vehicle and trailer. Neither of those launches are very good to begin with; and we may lose one altogether and most of the parking at the other one.

my apologies, I should have read the whole post, I skimmed through it and responded to fastrax.
