Sam i just want to thank for sharring and pointing us in the right direction on friday for some safe ice fishing.As you know friday was a very cold and windy day,very hard to fish in the open.But we did and had two fish on and lost at the hole.We will see you mid wk for our bait.All you OFC members thank you for all your input and putting us on to SAM,he is a great guy and has a fantastic outdoor store for all your fishing needs if you go to bbq.Sam thanks again and see you mid wk.Chuck

Well i hear ya!Iam on stoney lk now for 12yrs and this is my worst year yet .Not only for skies but all fish.I think they all took a hike to the locks and are on there way to sunny florida.

Just got back from the cottage with the boys from my office 4 days of fishing and playing cards. We only caught 4 eyes in total and the bigest was maybe 3 pounds. I have been on the lk for ten yrs and it is getting worse and worse or is it that i have lost my touch. Has anyone out here been on stoney latly and how did you do!!

Well i could sure use some tacktics for Stoney lk.Been out four times and only caught one.They are sure hard to find on my lk this year!

I was up at my cottage on stoney for the opener and it was not good at all.Did not even get a nibble.maybe this wk end.Good luck to you!!

I use power baits on erie deries some what like a worm harness but with a weight built in.Works great on stoney lk when the bite is on.

Stoney Lk is where i am going to be foe the opener! GOOD LUCK ALL.
