  1. Has anyone fished Hay Lake near Algonquin? I am looking at going up there and wanted to hear anything you have to say about the lake. Thanks for your input.
  2. Thanks. It is a big chain of 5 lakes. I am hoping the cottage thing works out.
  3. A few weeks ago, we were staying a Sibbald Point PP and went out sihgin around Georgina Island. Past the island, the waves were huge. The whole time we were there, there were whit caps. is it alwasy rough? What is the fishign like around Georgine? We caught 4-5 largies, but nothing special.
  4. went to site to offer support
  5. Welcome ot the ski club. Once you are hooked, it is tought to quit hunting them. My biggest is a 52 and I need to top it.
  6. Like most repairs for boats, it is expensive. Klaus Marin ein Etobicoke has done a good job for me nad even fixed an issue with a bettery they sold me.
  7. I think it comes down to your style of fishing. If you are working the slop for bucketmouths, it does not matter. If you are fishing for spooky pickerel, the lighter hte line hte better and you get the best results with mono or fluorcarbon. I get my best results fishing for smallies using a caroline rig with a fluorcarbon lead. Buy all three types of line and gauge your success to see for yourself.
  8. Hire a guid and go catvch some...it will cost a bit more but will be lots more fun.
  9. No luck for me either
  10. That is a little far fo rme but would be open to assisting in an Ontario lake if you bring an event here.
  11. Awesome fish and a great time of year to catch her. I am sure it was a monster of a fight.
  12. Cool thing to have happen...did you have any luck fishing that spot?
  13. even though I have a Yamaha outboard.......
  14. You can never go wrong buying a honda product
