  1. I couldnt go fishing or to the show today so I went off to princess auto. I noticed this combo for 55$, and figured I would check the net first. Just in case it was a really crappy combo. Cant find anything at all, oh well. I did walk out with 2 Storm giant thunderstick lures for 8$ a peice. thumbsup_anim.gif (only one left on the rack btw).

Anyhoo, if anyone knows about this combo, some info would be apreciated. Im thinking its a special one time cheapo combo that some store couldnt sell. It would be great for the kids if the quality is good.

    Thanks in advance

  2. Take the higher ground Randy, don't do anything you'll regret.

If the harrassment continues file a formal complaint. If it persists after that contact the local media.

If this officer is smart he'll let it go otherwise he'll most likely be unemployed.

Exactly my thoughts, and a cheap security camera and a vcr wouldnt hurt either.whistling.gif

I spent 75$ on the camera and it saved me 500$ in parking violations.A neighbour really hated us, being a home renter at the time in the area.

FYI, not to bump the thread in any means, A little birdy told me that a ticket left on your vehicle, with hand written #s and letters at the top of it, Is a called in violation,by whom ever. And double check that the ticket is fully filled out.If not they cant process it legally.

  3. Old news. Many of the larger manufacturers of wading boots now only sell boots with vibram type soles for this very reason.

    Yup old news.

Not really realizing it, and really liking the options at the time. I purchased a pair of Korkers wading boots with interchangeable soles. Had them for ten yrs or so, still In awesome shape. So if the regs leeds towards banning felt bottom wading boots(soles). Im good to goGonefishing.gif

  4. Well folks, I was at it againwallbash.gif

Same place for the same species and everything happened the same way, once again.

I can get the lakers, browns and bows to come by and sniff/bump my lure as usuall. To get them to bite, well not today.

In lew of how the day went, I did manage to be entertained by a new fishy pet for an hr or so.lol

Anywhoo, I packed to hit another hole in the area, noticed that perch were lurking, so I set up fo them. At this point I really didnt care if I caught a fish. So I set up a nice tip up that Leechman kindly sent to me last week. A little expermenting with the wind/ lure, I had it down packed with Leechmans creationthumbsup_anim.gif The twin stayed homesmile.gif

  5. Not worth the drive, I will be out there tomorrow with my 4 year old though for his first time ice fishing.

Dan, do they charge to walk in there? And is the gate open?

Rich , my one time experience there with doubt, actually turned out very well for me. Caught a decent size pike while untangling my lines.

The only fish that was caught that day and never went back since.
