Bought a new 859 hd di this year ive had it out a few times and have had trouble with getting the down imaging picture. Friend of mine bought the same unit and I noticed our transducers are different. Ive tried looking up which transducer is the right one but cant seem to find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. His tranducer is the xnt 9 di i believe(looks like a tear drop) Im not sure which one mine is but looks like a bar of soap.

I have the same unit and encountered the same problem. Only my signal never came back. Seems to be pretty common with the internal gps in these things just crapping out. Contacted humminbird and they want you to ship to their repair center in North bay if I can remember correctly.

Do you remember where you ordered your post from?

Bit of a late reply but I made it into the local dealer today, they want $180 just for the post and another $30 for a generic bike seat. Not going to happen... ill be ordering online and using a seat base off an extra one I have.

Thanks for the replies guys. After searching all over online, it doesn't look like swivl-eze makes a tall enough seat post for the 2 3/8 bases that came installed in my Rebel. They do have power pedestal options that fit the other bases though. danbob your lund seat and post for 150 doesn't sound bad at all after looking at posts and seats online. Was that through a dealer? I will see what the prices will be like through my local dealers and keep you guys posted.

Has anyone added one to their lund? Any recommendations for posts or seats? Don't want to spend the extra money for one that says lund on it.

What is the fine for not having a chart on board? Where can you purchase the chart and how much?

Fished lake St Clair for the first time last weekend. Was a half decent day caught my personal best musky but it was no where near the monsters ive seen come out of there. We fished the mouth of the river with the rest of the pack, which really isn't my cup of tea. Just wondering if the whole lake is murky or if it was just that area at the river mouth because of the rainfall Saturday? and are there areas of structure to be found out on the lake? The little exploring I did away from the mouth I didn't mark anything but flat bottom. Im not looking for anyones hot spots just a nudge in the right direction. Should I be looking for weed beds and structure out on the main lake to concentrate on?

Think I may sell my 2011 lund rebel xl 1625 side console to upgrade to a larger boat. The motor came with a 5 year warranty when I bought it, just wondering if these are transferable? Im also wondering what work is involved in transferring the title of the boat and trailer to the new owner? One final question, I paid just under 18000 brand new for the boat what can I realistically expect to get for it now. These might be silly questions but this is the first boat I have owned and first im looking to sell. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the feedback guys, still no luck getting it working in the driveway. Fingers crossed it figures itself out on my next outing. If not i'll most likely wait out the season and send it away for repair. As for trolling speeds ill have to just go by the hummm from the rigger:P or maybe theres a phone app I could find?

We were out for a few hours and it never picked up the signal. Now it doesn't even show or give me the option to show the chart screens. On the system diagnosis you can run it shows gps and speed as "unconnected". Not looking good from what ive read online. Great timing too fishing the GOSD and now I have no way to watch my speed for trolling.

Hit lake Ontario last night after work to do some salmon fishing. Turned my unit on and it said no gps fix location... figured it would pick up a signal on the ride out. Made it out to where we wanted to fish and still no gps or speed reading. Updated the software today and still nothing. Any one else ever had the internal gps in there unit crap out? Everyone thing else works fine I just have no mapping gps or speed now.

Hey guys long time browser on here... Just have a quick question about the Fifteen Mile Pond and Sixteen Mile Pond that are along the Qew on your way to Niagra from Hamilton. I got myself a 10' Basshound last summer with an electric motor on it and have only fished conservation areas. I was just wondering if im allowed to have the electric motor in those ponds and where can I find some shore line to drop the boat in the water? Thanks in advance Bawbag
